This is definitely a very competitive industry. I love what I do but what we do isn't for everyone

I had my landscape maintenance business for seven years my biggest issue was trying to figure out how to transition into more helpers and then another truck most of my clients were high end full service ones, you name it I did it my homes looked great once I service them , the demand for my services was coming from all directions, I got to the point where I was actually turning away work I just couldn’t keep up with the demand i eventually sold the business and moved on in life being successful in other venues you might want to do a video on how to handled the growth of ones lawn care business and encourage owners to do other things besides mow blow and go I did tree work pest control and a little bit of landscaping I got guys in each of those industries to do the work and I help and learned along side of them thanks for your video it brought back many great memories

This is what I was thinking about. I was thinking about "Owning" Everything in the yard. Pest Control, Lawn, and even pressure washing.

Live here in Kentucky, in my second season of lawn care. I’d keep my job until you grow, bought equipment 1st year, this year now that I’m comfortable I spent on advertising. I already have 3(x) more work and ready to build on top of my skills from last year and looking forward to scaling up!!! Thanks Jason your advice has been golden!!!

One of the cons are is that people will try to rip you off if you are new to the business. I have a policy of fixed prices and no bargaining.

The same in England. My Father's generation would never pay for someone to take care of their lawn.

I am very intrigued by the weed control and fertilization aspect of the business. I have a very small lawn care side business but would love to really get into the weed control fertilization part more

I just bought a Makita battery set up for one of my trucks to offer a green service for the subdivision small lots homes . I also have three trucks doing larger jobs. It will be interesting to see if subdivision homes really do want green electric service or maybe it will be a big mistake ???????
