I like to think that after sucking out Elfilin from Elfilis body his body became very unstable and fragile because he wasn't whole anymore. His body even started to get goo-like again like Fecto Forgos with slime drops and all. Even tough he still got all his power his body couldn't handle anymore damage so he tried to get a great distance between him and Kirby.

Cute games ore shows that have a bit of a dark edge to them are my cup of tea. My favorite show us Made in Abyss. I grew up with Digimon(with the German dub) I just recently played Fuga Melodies of steal which is about a bunch of cute animal children banding together in an atempt to find and save ther families and well things get rough. Well dark does not always mean crepy. I might struggle to tell. Although compared to the likes of D-Reaper and Bondrewed I think main villain of this game does not seem to be outstanding in that departmeant. Cute and dark is actully a commen combination yet people act like its unusual. This this is my first Kirby game and it had nothing I would not expect from a cute collorfull Adventure.

Small thing, but I absolutely love the rock epic version of the invincibility music during the truck segment for the cinematic final bit there. The invincibility music has been in the series since the original Gameboy game, but they've actually rarely done anything with it, and it sounds great here, and fits the moment super well as you blast through with the truck near invincible but on a time limit (as the music has always had a mixture of an empowering feeling, but also on a timer before the invincibility wears off).

The game was short, but the mechanics with real life objects being used in some puzzles were fun. The bosses are creative with The final boss giving me strong anxiety but I beat it on the second try. I've never experienced something like that in previous kirby games. It is emotionally impacting, terrifying, and ultra realistic. This is a departure to the typical cartoonish villanous moments from animated cartoons and from past kirby games like Plankton and Mojo Jojo, for example. It shares the feeling of excitement from Metroid Dread. And to finish up, I almost cried at the ending.

Out of all the things. Every 3d kirby game has had some really cool final blow to the boss whether it be finishing magalor with the super sword ability in return to dreamland, a final blow with hypernova to queen sectonia, drilling straight through star dream with the robobot armor, or ending void termina with the literally power of friendship and of all the things you choose to finish off a demon/alien monster that quite literally could have destroyed the universe 10 times over by running his head in with a god damn semi truck.

This is by far the only time i’ve ever been terrified by a Kirby boss. Especially the Human speech right before you fight Leon. That “and here we are!” gave me the chills. And dear Arceus, Specimen ID-F86’s stasis state gave me nightmares after i beat the game. Kirby has its share of horrifying final bosses, but Fecto Elfilis had me the most terrified after Void Termina.

*THEORY:* What if Elfilis was the origin of life. Not all life, but the origin of mutant life and Dream Land lifeforms. Prior before Kirby’s first game, Elfilis invaded the Forgotten Land/Earth and transformed the animals into furries and the Beast Pack, but might also transformed all humans *(except for Adeline)* into Waddle Dees. King Dedede might’ve been a normal penguin before being mutated by Elfilis. After that, the invader was captured by the Waddle Dees. 30 years later, Elfilis was separated into the Fecto Forgo and Elfilin. The Forgo implies that the Dees *(nuts)* are, in fact, a workforce, which humans are nowadays 30 years after Kirby’s first game. You’ve seen the Waddle Dees build a small civilization after they have been freed by Kirby. Leon says that the Waddle Dees moved to Dream Land, prior before Kirby came to Dream Land. It is confirmed that all Waddle Dees are human, might as well be confirmed that Elfilis was the origin of all Dream Land lifeforms *(except Kirby & Meta).*
