HELLO FRIENDS! I have one more video going up then I’m gonna be MIA for a bit. I scrapped like 4 videos this month because I felt like I was just “keeping up with schedule” rather than putting out shit I’m passionate about. In the process I kinda burned myself out because I also run a small local business and a tech business with just the help of my assistant. December was EXHAUSTING to say the least. I’m gonna take some time to reconnect with the world and come back with some new ideas and segments for you guys. I miss stuff like “celebrities setting boundaries” and judges going off so I wanna come up with more ideas like that!! I miss you and see you soon! It won’t be long at all. I just like to tell y’all what’s up instead of just disappearing. 🥰

The idea of a private investigator, who most likely saw cases like this all the time, being killed freaks me out. It reminds me of the Buzzfeed Unsolved episode where they talk about how a detective going missing is "like a fish drowning". Just goes to show that this can happen to anyone, regardless of their knowledge of criminals, and it's chilling.
@jennaye8142 Жыл бұрын
Private investigators are people too. Private investigators can be stupid, ignorant, uneducated, racist, sexist, narcissistic, liars, addicts, cheaters, pedophiles and murderers too... that badge they wear just means they completed training that probably any relatively normal IQ and sane person could complete as well. and often times that training was either done poorly, or the training itself was poor and doesn't actually prepare a person to deal with everything he or she will have to, and that training was also conducted and made by a human who also doesn't know everything. doctors & surgeons make mistakes all the time, presidents often shouldn't be in charge of an economy and are terrible people themselves, priests commit immoral acts against god all the time... my point is that a uniform & badge and even years of experience don't make anybody immune to life itself, and it's incredibly ignorant for us to assume they are...I get your point but I really hate the mindset that people in any position of power are somehow superior. like therapists need therapy themselves, ya know?

A few years back my friend's mother had developed dementia. She was no longer able to care for herself and my friend asked me to look after her mother for a few weeks while they arranged for an assisted care home for her. I was deeply touched that my friend would trust me with such a task, I was not about to betray that trust. So even though I didn't really like the woman much, there was no way I was going to give her the smallest hint that I didn't like her. The poor woman was under enough stress, being forced out of her home where she had lived for most of he life. So I treated her in the same way I would want my mother treated. Not because I liked her, but because she was important to someone who was important to me. If you ever want to know who to trust, always remember, the liar will tell you, "You can trust me." because liars lie. The honest person will never tell you, "You can trust me." instead, they will show you.

Back in 2014-2015, I had legal problems of my own and spent some time in jail. Things are better now in my life and I've had NO problem with Court or Jail since 2015. My point is, while I was in there, (it wasn't Fed prison, it was just County Jail, for like 5 months) we CONSTANTLY had women coming in and out for "Failure to Pay Child Support" ..... That is a VERY real threat, so I can totally understand Taylor breathing down Ashley's neck about the money. She really just didn't want to GO TI JAIL. And I've seen women be in jail for owing as little as $800, or $1200, or $1500.and if she owed $30,000 or whatever, she would do a SIGNIFICANT amount of time. And it was a time-sensitive issue because if it got to the point where they put Taylor in jail, there would be no going to the bank without her. There would be nobody that could withdraw any money without going through a huge ball of red tape. And if you are in jail for Child Support, they WILL NOT release you until your debt is paid. So, just wanted to add that bit of information. Ashley acted like she was angry at Taylor for asking, begging, and pressuring her for the money and for not giving Ashley time to try to get some money together. Taylor wasn't just being a pushy friend. She simply didn't want to go to jail and I'm sure the struggles with the ex-husband were adding pressure. She DID NOT deserve to die for that!! So sad.

The behaviour around the money is very common, I currently work at a family law firm and this happens all the time…. So Taylor TECHNICALLY stole 100k from her and her husband's bank account after it was obvious that they were getting a divorce (I believe it was pretty much all the money they had, or most of it) and Taylor thought she deserved that and didn't want to split it. Hence why it was so important to put it all back because it looked REALLY bad on Taylor in the eyes of the court and she was being threatened with contempt of court if she didn't comply with the judges ruling. She thought Ashley was a safe bet and that she'd keep that money safe until she needed it. Sad thing is, Ashley could've said she "never got any money" and there was almost no way Taylor could've LEGALLY gotten it back. So instead of just being a dick and losing Taylor as a friend, she lured her in and killed her. So she not only lost her as a friend but killed her (in a very OBVIOUS way) and fucked herself. What a backwards, STUPID solution 🤦♂️
@stacys87297 ай бұрын
I was thinking the same thing! Taylor had no leal right to that money - it should have gone into escrow until the divorce was settled. She was in trouble with the court. Ashley could have just acted surprised, denied, or even say 'oh, that gift of money you gave me?'

I'd only vaguely heard of this case. Too bad here in Canada we don't allow cameras in the courtroom (there are courtroom artists who draw scenes from the courtroom, no lie), because speaking of people named "McArthur" and potting soil, the 2010-2017 murders of gay men in the village (Church & Wellesley) in Toronto by serial killer landscaper Bruce McArthur is an interesting and horrifying case. Reacting to (and ragging on) courtroom drawings of famous cases would, in itself, be really interesting.

Here’s what I don’t get. And how it shows people just don’t think ahead. If she spends the money, wth was she going to do? Try to ghost and hope she says eh it’s only $34K I’ll let it go? Like, wtf was the plan OTHER than murder.

Don't put this in the general population... There's a reason why there's one singular case of this.

But so many do stupid murders and don’t think. Like all the kids that are killing their parents with no next step planned. And half the cases on here are like they don’t even plan to get away with it, they just…. Don’t even think about the after. But even here, was she maybe thinking she’d pay the money back but then couldn’t? So she dug a hole and couldn’t get out then murder? It was the entire plan steal then murder from the jump.

Boze I got selected for jury duty and FREAKED OUTTTTT LUCKY I WASNT FULLY SERVED BUT YA KNOW I was low-key excited but the judge told us there would be no murder cases and I was like aw man
@breezieb3297 Жыл бұрын
Take it from me, you do not want to be a juror on a murder case. They show everything. I mean, everything. You don't want to have to see that and then have to dive deep into the context of those photos/evidence for the next indiscernible amount of days/weeks/months having to think about it constantly because the case is still ongoing and you need to make a verdict. Don't wish for that.
@Bubbagum87 Жыл бұрын
I don't wish for it. But it would have been something I'm familiar with in true crime. I'd much rather hear about a murder than an SA or child abuse case. Luckily I wasn't selected for the jury thank God.

video suggestion: can you blind react to some content while wearing a heart rate monitor? that would be so funny! just want to say i recently found you and i’ve binged all of your videos and even made it to a live stream! you are very talented at respecting the victims of crime while simultaneously injecting light and humour into your content. it’s not an easy feat and your effort is noticed and appreciated 😊 big love to you and your team. enjoy the break x

Gotta wonder what the ex-husband thought of this mess. On one hand, he’s not getting that $32K back. On the other hand, suddenly there’s no divorce case, everything is his, and he gets a big ol’ slice of schadenfreude pie.

In my years of mindlessly watching Judge Judy, some things kinda stuck and I remember her saying if something doesn't make sense then someone's lying--or something to that effect. It stuck with me when I talk to people and made me think about it when you were talking about muddying the waters.
