Good video, though I would also not rule out the Endurance for mining. Slap on a deepcore miner II and some T2 crystals and go. With my skills I get 15.2 m3 per sec and an ore hold of 19000m3 means less travelling. With an align time of 2.85sec you're hard to catch. A tip I have for the PvP tab is to run 2 overviews I have my PvP overview shorter but right below my main overview it allows me to keep an eye on my PvP overview and my d-scan at all times while doing another activity, maybe I'm just paranoid and have lived in WH space for too long but I don't feel safe if I can't see both

I like the GP-S Gausians no residue and they have a range of 16 km. That range doesn't matter if you're just mining one big rock - but - if you're mining several smaller ones than by mining separate rocks - you reduce the frequency with which you have to swap rocks. .

thats not exactly how residue works... the 34% is just the proc chance. but when it does proc you receive the same amount of ore but that same amount will be burned as well. so for ex if it procs on that miner II then youll still get 60m3 but an additional 60m3 will be burned or "wasted" off the asteroid

I use it all the time. You need to be able to cloak to gtfo should the gankers start hunting you!

Prospect sucks. What for would I EVER buy a covert ops frigate if you just "warp out when they come"? *A venture can do that too! with natural +2 warp!* ... and 20mil cheaper! You can't even fit a cloak and a probe scanner in that ship! So the ship thats ideal for wormholes, can not find wormholes, and has to play chicken in lowsec for bad ore? Warping away and hiting F3 to get my cloak going is ez pz. They cant even use bubbles in lowsec! So worst case if some guys somehow tackle you: you lose a ship worth 3~5mil (TOTAL). You can do that 4 times before you have one prospect... without fitting! Long story short: you can not possible lose money in a venture. You just cant. Also, about that lowsec; there are easy C1 wormholes with belts that have *WAY* better matierals and all you need is a T1 cruiser to clean 3-4 rats -once. And IF i want to just ninja shit in general: the Endurance is slower with mining (450vs519) but also got cloaking, can use probes (thanks to 1 spare slot), can suck ice and ore with a similar tank and costs just as much. Plus that thing got an extra midslot: might as well use that for a codebreaker and make some isk along the way if you cant find ore?! Its just way more versetile. The only real upside of the prospect is GAS but good luck finding that: looking 2 days straight i found 2 fields. 1 in low 1 in high. None in wh. Flew a big circle around the 4 trade hubs and i wasnt very lucky. SO given that timespan (even if you find a cloud) its not worth it given the time spent. Natural ores and WH belt spawns are far more common and relyable. The rest is just luck and luck doesn't pay bills. Casino always wins when the odds are against you.
