When you panned out the magnetic side of the black sand was there flour gold in it? If you just stick a magnet in concentrates it often carries a bunch of flour gold up with it but with enough spinning and separation it could get full separation which would be cool.

"Clean" black sand byproduct has value if you have enough of it. Took me a couple years to save up two 5-gallon buckets full; would have much more if I hadn't been tossing it forever. Yeah I learn from you brother I forgot to mention I hit a spot just outside of Pekin Illinois and found 20 specs but then I ran into a 30 pound piece of petrified wood after I got that out I was to pooped to do any more I think I might put it on craigslist to see if I can get something for it I do know they make jewelry from it
