It would be worth using some dr juice inshore slam on your artificial. With them nosing it like that they will slurp it up with some scent on it. Also I've had good luck in the keys with NLBN mini mullet, which basically is a 4 inch weightless fluke style bait. Tight lines bro

I really appreciate your enthusiasm and commitment to find fish. Just wish you would consider not being so specific about the areas and keys that you are fishing. There is so much pressure on the fish in these areas that giving spots away that have taken me years to learn is really disappointing. It doesn’t hurt to keep secrets when fishing!
