Prot Paladin tanking Prince Malchezaar

Any tips on keeping aggro? I feel like I'm using all the skills available to me to hold are but dps always manages to pull aggro. I'm playing in classic.

Tbc has unique threat abilities you will be fine

Righteous fury is really nice as well , consecration has a huge threat pull

TBC has more items catered to tankadins (Plate with spell power and defense) so you will automatically have more threat with those

Tankadin is an excellent addon that shows you your crush cap, block value and spell power. Basically all you need to know as a prot pally. When you see the number that is orange (19,91%) become green I am immune to crushing blows (and using holy shield/having redoubt up). It also has built in button for and warning for when righteous fury is not active, and alerts your raid when your taunts miss.

Having recently tanked it as a paladin I can say for sure you don't really need to worry about mana on prince. You will be getting enough heals that your mana regen will keep you from going oom.

@@danbill9165 nah. You also need crushing blow immunity with 103% avoidance(I think it was either 103 or 102%) while holy shield is up. A solid trick Is also casting avenger's shield while the prince casts shadow nova

The content is overtuned too so won't be too far off from what Classic TBC has to offer I'd imagine. But yes, this server is currently on the 2.4.3 patch with Sunwell out, so I have 2/8 T6 and other good pieces
