There’s something about how that design comes together that’s just really aesthetically pleasing.

Extremely reminiscent of Robert Terzuolas designs but not so much to be stepping on toes, i like it!

I didn't know I needed this until I watched the video. I love Protechs and will add this to my collection of them which now stands at 54.

I really like the look of this knife. In my opinion everything about it is extremely aesthetically pleasing - the flat-ness of the DLC on the handle, the two tone appearance of the blade, the blade shape (spear points are one of my absolute favorite blade shapes, not just for looks but for function as well) and then it’s all finished off with that nice bright red on the button. Beautiful. The looks are indeed very attractive but the obvious functionality take it to the next level of attractive; I enjoy seeing knives that are designed from the ground up to be carried and used every day. Thanks for showing us this one, Doc.

First vid I've seen on this one that talked about the washerless pivot system. I agreed with everything you stated. I dig Protech.

I think it looks amazing. If it was legal to carry in CA, I would pick one up on a heart beat.

I got the same one a few weeks ago and it’s been in my pocket since I got it. It’s pretty fantastic. Only slight dislike is and it’s very minor is a bit of button drag which makes it a tad gritty feeing. For me this one is a keeper.
@DoctorFrunkey4 жыл бұрын
You could try adding drop of oil to the inner button interface. That may help with that gritty feeling!
@josecolon21654 жыл бұрын
Doctor Frunkey I’ll try that. It’s such a minor complaint I don’t notice it 99% of the time. This is my first Protech and it won’t be my last.

Check out the Protech ATAC by Harkins if you get a chance, I’d be curious to hear what you think. I got one recently, and I am really loving it. It has both manual and automatic action, Protech calls it double action. It’s really neat.

Thanks for the heart! Your review was the video that convinced me I wanted to buy the Massdrop Terzuola CTF as I was worried about quality. But you ended up being 100% correct, great piece for the price! I had to sand the edges on the scales a bit and lighten the lock up but its definitely the nicest knife I own in the $150 price range 👍 Since then I've always trusted your reviews and never found you to hype something that wasn't worth it, Shabazz level reviews! Now that I look down, I'm even carrying my CTF today, thanks again!

I’m not too thrilled about the grind. Otherwise this would be a “must buy.” Also, anything with the “parallel lines” is overpriced. That doesn’t keep it from being cool though.

People get salty about automatics and talk negative about them because where they reside they are either illegal to own or carry or both. Also, a good percentage of the quality automatics are a bit spendy so people get salty about not being able to afford them and start talking bad about them
