Ordered a set of their ceramic bearings for my XM-18 and they are excellent. Also came with a handwritten thank you note on the receipt.

Skiff bearings won’t make it smoother. They are for longevity.

I have #29 with Purple accents, purple backspacer! I am so in love with my drifter 29! An awesome thing about the Skiffs also is they encourage you to use the knife and they offer a very fantastic very reasonable spa treatments so that we as enthusiasts can in fact use the knife and carry it! It is very beautiful but it is a awesome tool at the same time! I love my detent and the combo of MASTER CRAFTSMAN hand ground blade by Skiff sr. And CNC WIZARDRY by Skiff jr on the handle make this a very unique piece joining traditional knife making with cutting edge CNC technology! I couldn’t be any happier! Thank you dr. Frunkey for your review you will absolutely love yours when you get it! Mine has certainly dominated more than a fair share of pocket time! Cheers 🍻

I actually feel ahead of the curve, haha. Got one of these a couple months ago. Ended up moving it on to someone else, but it’s definitely top-level CNC work.

I’ve come to the determination that I’m just not a fan of mirror polishing, really anywhere on a knife. Seems like a nice piece otherwise. The color scheme of this one seems like a nod to the ZT0456.

Beautiful knife, BUT why don’t they do the lockbar cutout on the inside !!!
@MycoMatty4 жыл бұрын
There are tons of makers who do the cutout on the outside. The only time I like it on the inside is if it’s a liner lock just so theres a clean line.

LOL I was thinking it was called drifter cos it's a kind of sail boat ,now I realise it might mean drifter as in person to never settle makes sense going by previous names ,love mine btw

Steve skiff...... stop the swedges on everything!! Take that off and I’m sold.. I want spine for my trailing finger and precision cutting... this swedge makes that more difficult and throws off the lines of the design... is there a non swedged version???
