Awesome video Mr. Jon as always. Soft 99 Fusso Coat is by far the best solution for winter on a vehicle with it's superior durability and resistance to both chemicals and also rejecting road grime, dirt, road salts and chemicals that melt snow which are caustic to paint. The GLACO line is also a great, easy to use glass compounding/coating system for a reasonable price. I love everything that Soft 99 makes. I love waxing my vehicles so Soft 99 has been my go to waxes for quite some time, especially Fusso Coat which will always have a place in my detailing arsenal. I use it as a base layer on both my paint and especially on my rims. Then I top it with other products. Anything from Soft 99 will offer you great protection for the winter time making your winter detail sessions a much more pleasant experience as washing will be a little easier.

Thanks Joe ive just literally prep'd the car again here in the UK with fusso and glaco ultra. And yer you really notice for the first 2-3 washes the dirt peel. if you top it every few washes with fusso booster the beading stays like day 1. Its as good as anything non ceramic out there really. And its all going to be half price again this year so the fusso tin will be 15 pounds. the booster will be like 7 pounds the ultra will be 8 pounds.

Hi John. While I've been a fusso user for 10+ years I thought I would throw another one in the mix. Soft99 waterblock. You get alot more for your money, easier to use and just as hydrophobic. Yes not as durable but who doesn't enjoy a waxing often more than leaving a build up on the car. I always do two coats as it's proven to me lasting longer. I drive 80 miles per day down the M1 and it shows doing two coats with fusso has better benefits. Soft99 waterblock is excellent but thought I would give this a try for winter protection on my own car and see how it goes. Normally I use this on clients cars as I don't want to use my fusso 'original' version. It means too much to me 😂

I'm trying Turtle Wax Seal 'n' Shine at the moment. I use it on the windscreen too. Works best by claying the car first but seems good and lasting so far. Also use TW Car wash too and a weak solution in a spray bottle makes the best clay lubricant I have used, much better than detailing spray and my fingers don't get coated in clay either. All of these processes take less time than you would think too.

@ForensicDetailing Жыл бұрын
so these products lower surface friction. but because they dont allow water to stick on the screen you loose the lubrication of the water so you can get this build up and clearance of the water and the blade almost bounces. judder is a real hit and miss thing some blades just seem to do it. you can try deep kleen the blade and put the glass sealant on the blades as well m8.

Whatever repellent I’ve used over the years on over a dozen cars on the windscreen, I’ve always regretted doing it and it’s no difference with the Glaco. At town speeds of under 30mph in the rain, the screen smears (and judders) too much using the wipers for my liking - even with a brand new set or wiper blades after the application. At night, it’s even worse so I just use it on the side windows and rear window now.
@jamesdriver8148 Жыл бұрын
