Photophobia is when bright light bothers your eyes and makes it hard for you to handle. It's different from photosensitivity, which is when your skin is more prone to getting sunburned.
Nutritional deficiencies can cause photophobia, and some of the nutrients that can increase sensitivity to bright light are vitamin B2, vitamin B3, vitamin D, iron, vitamin A, zinc, copper, vitamin C, and vitamin E. Correcting these deficiencies can help improve photophobia symptoms. Vitamin B12 deficiency can also cause visual symptoms like optic neuritis.
Sunlight is important for our health, and if you're struggling with going outside because of bright light, it might be worth considering if you have any nutritional deficiencies that are contributing to your photophobia.

I have celiac disease, osteopenia borderline osteoporosis, fibromyalgia, chronic fatigue syndrome, and some heart issues on and off. I just recently had labs run and am awaiting results. Anemia is in question AGAIN and I have commented on light sensitivity for years. Florescent lights make me dizzy. I am currently being supplemented with calcium, zinc, magnesium, super B complex and D3. This video makes so much sense to me and answers some questions. Thank you. I have only just started diving into all your wonderful videos and incredibly helpful information since yesterday and I have to say I have finally exhaled. My life feels like one long doctor visit where I am the hypochondriac...😅

Fascinating. I've always been told my constant light sensitivity is because my eyes are blue so more sensitive, but I am chronically low on Vit B12 & Vit D

You might want to check out Jim Lee at Climate Viewer. I think he's got a better understanding than Dane. Just my opinion. He has no problem correcting couse if he was wrong. (not that common these days). He goes to EPA meetings to speak about the dimming issues. So, trying to make changes.

I'm not deficient in any of those nutrients. I just recently got blood work done. I've had photophobia since I was a child. This doesn't help at all.

Isn’t it better to take the B vitamins in a complex form instead of by themselves?
