I like that look of the screen and skid plate and the rest of your mods. Keep up the great work.

You should make a video about how the bike feels with the big bore kit.

I like your creativity. I've looked at some stainless steel barbeque veggie grill parts to make a luggage rack. Also have a 1/2 inch polyurethane plastic cutting board that I'm thinking of taking a skill saw, key hole drill bit, and router to carve out a luggage rack platform.

Hey what is the product for this metal filer? I have the a Hawk and just purchased the oil cooler, I am basically trying to do the same thing as you just missing that metal shield. Thanks Moto Taco, I love the content!

Oh I completely disregarded the fact that you spray painted it and bent it and was just scanning Walmart for the exact same material. I see what you did though, I’ll try and do the same :)

Your videos have been super helpful man. Got a question, I'm gonna mount the oil cooler but my clutch cable is alllllll up in the way. I can't seem to tell from this and your mounting video how you routed it

pretty cool I might say, great job hopefully the bike wont be vibrating a lot after " the big one" bore upgrade. for all the parts might be up on a "holding on for dear life" ride from there on out.

I agree. Thread lock and safetywire is our friend for these bigger upgrades

Who is the supplier for oil cooler? Amazon only offers a mix & match of "might work" products, now. OBTW, an update on how your big block 300 is doing would be great! I like my Hawk 250 but was dishearted to learn its really a smogged-out 230. Thus, I searched for remedies & what others are doing.
@mototaco6603 Жыл бұрын
i will send you a link to oil coolers on amazon that will fit your hawk 250 however they are about half the size. you are correct in learning the manufacturer does not make these anymore. and if you check the channel the newest video is an update on the big bore kit www.amazon.com/Madezz-Motorcycle-Cooling-100CC-250CC-65ml-Black/dp/B07WMV5VJL/ref=sr_1_4?crid=2855DQNUIQQHI&keywords=hawk+250+oil+cooler&qid=1679845731&sprefix=hawk+250+oil+coole%2Caps%2C148&sr=8-4&ufe=app_do%3Aamzn1.fos.006c50ae-5d4c-4777-9bc0-4513d670b6bc

@@mototaco6603 great. yes, saw that. The physical size promotes best cooling. Tho, for eye-appeal enthusiasts and intense trail riding enthusiasts, large could become "too big". For an air-cooled engine, anything that functions is a plus! Smart move on your part with the overbore kit. Temps in SC USA where I live get hot in the summer standing still in the shade! So, even my mostly stock Hawk would last longer with an oil cooler!

@@mototaco6603 I question too much added volume for the stock oil pumps capacity, anyway. Oil pressure will decrease.
