Skip the wrenches and wires those will 100% come off but blue thread tight is the way to go for bolts like that.

Thank you for this video. I hope it’s the same process for the Bashan 250XL that I just ordered. I live at 2500ft above sea level. The mountains I want to ride in all around me go up to about 8 - 9,000ft. Would I have to re-jet the carb at certain elevation intervals? Seems like it would end up becoming a pain to stop at specific elevations to do this. Thoughts?

How easy is it to rejet the carb if I plan to ride in the mountains? I live at 2500 ft above sea level and would hate to have to rejet at different altitudes, just to ride in the mountains.
@AlaskaWild15 күн бұрын
I thought that looked like nasty Louisiana. I grew up in Baton Rouge. So glad I left there for the great outdoors. I do NOT miss the trash, mismanged government, crime, incessant rain, heat and humidity.... etc... etc. Great test ride though!

Picked up a hawk that sat for a year, new battery, fuses good and it kick started but now it won’t. Replaced relay and still won’t kick start or electric start

So I have the new Hawk 250, it has the counterbalanced engine (carb).... unfortunately this kit wouldn't be a option, anybody know the wrist pin size on the new motors? or a big bore kit that's sustainable for the new hawks.

I havent seen anyone get standed due to fuel injector, because most vehicles have multiple cylinders and can still run without a single one working. However i have seen people stranded due to electronic fuel pumps failing. Carbs all day, ecu(computer) can also fail. I just hate wiring, why would i want to make it more complicated?
@connorheselton531521 күн бұрын
Its pretty pointless as the radiator is too close to the exhaust that get way to hot you should have placed the radiator next to the horn plus the oil lines are way to close to the cylinder it defeats the object your trying to achieve radiators are ment to be above the engine not below as most of the heat is at the bottom

Great video!! Interesting to see the two models compared. Just purchased a '23 DLX with the counterbalanced EFI version. Already been a blast just to tool around the city in -planning to trailer it up north to trails we ATV on to see how it handles rough stuff. Definitely agree with your closing statement -this thing was a great buy for the money bar none 😉

FYI GUYS. "D" is a manufacturer mark for the company "DONGYA", DY means top ring and D means bottom, other companies like ATG for example will have "ATG" as top ring and "A" as second ring. Orientation doesnt matter as long as you can tell which is which by rubbing your fingers against the ring like he said which is corect. So in this case D will be the Scraper ring NOT THE COMPRESSION RING like hes showing (according to the manufacturer) and also "IN" on the top of the piston DOES NOT MEAN Inside the frame or whatever he stated.. IT MEANS "INTAKE" VALVE! so the "IN" means the piston needs to be orientated facing the INTAKE valve side of this engine and not the EX or EXHAUST!. has nothing whatsoever to do with the inside of the bike frame. just my .02.
