I recommend a stronger spray to wash off mites than the hose-end -breaker.

I was going through so much soap I started cooking my own. The damn aphids were taking over and still too cold for the ladybugs. I can not sing enough praises for pyganic! I use a cheap ryobi (nonheated) fogger and the aphids didn't die on the plant (like soap) they left the plants totally! It does nothing for my overwinter cabbage moths though...

Do you treat the soils around the exterior of your greenhouses ? We use a polycarbonate panels on our greenhouses with metal flashing grouted between it and the concrete. This makes a very effective seal. We grow roses and use a product called TriTek. In a situation such as yours we have the liberty to use it. What do you use for insecticidal soap? Thank you for sharing ? How are your husbands construction projects doing ?

So I have tried lots of recipes for home made soap. Non to great success. The best one I have found (I also like the smell) is Safer Brand. Insect killing soap concentrate. It’s safe for edibles and ornamental plants. I buy the 6 pack (16 oz each) off Amazon.

I have used and it works great. I don't like spraying in my greenhouse so I would use as a last resort for major outbreak
