Quite an ingenious idea. Thanks for sharing! Could you please also present the original rubber floor mats from BMW for the X1? Do they fit well? Are they easy to install and clean? Maybe even other BMW accessories if you have them (like a bike rack, etc.).

The rubber floor mats and also the original mat for the trunk fits perfectly! The floor mats are quite flat so will not protect if a lot of water is there but I never had a problem.
