It tasted the best, I was hesitant will my kid eat this as it has no jaggery or ghee but she loved them and polished off almost half portion before moulding to ladoos

I loved the video for just two reasons. -How the video was calmly explained till the end without any music. -I like the indian mom way of explaining stuff, like how she tells about her son and gives info of the place she bought spices from.

Today i made this...but instead of dates i used jaggery & also added roasted oats in ghee...some almonds along with peanuts & poppy seeds & linseed..came out good...inspired by u...thx nisha...ur recipes r a boon to all who follow u...God bless

And even if u r not a Christian...you are still doing that by using ur skill of cooking healthy, nutritious, delightful recipes. I made this ladoo. I felt Ragi was burnt but after I added jaggery oats and sesame. It tasted fabulous 😍. All the ladoos vanished in 10 min. My family loved it.

Just made these ladoos following the exact instructions. They turned out so tasty and wholesome. Only confusion was with the time taken to roast the ragi flour. Apart from it, such an easy way to make ladoos that too homemade and healthy. Must try!

I made these laddoos thrice. Here's what I learnt: 1. Use SOFT DATES only. Dry dates won't be able to bind the laddoos. 2. Using a regular grinder jar for the dates and raisins might create some problem. I broke mine twice. Try using your HANDS to MASH the dates (first remove the seeds) and use a MORTAR AND PESTLE (preferably the FLAT one) to grind the raisins.

Good idea! Thanks. Peanuts is oil, so using coconut oil no harm! But adding peanuts bring protein content in laddus.

I made these today for my 3 years old son. They turned out to be awesome. Instead of peanuts I used half and half cup of almonds and cashew. Next time will add peanuts. another amazing recipe as usual. thanks for your videos aunty ji. i would suggest you to make shorter videos so that more people can watch without dropping off midway. lengthy processes (e.g. roasting ragi flour for 3mins) can be made shorter and repetitive info can be skipped. just a suggestion 😊

I have tried many recipes from you like fried rice, granola, Christmas cake, wheat biscuits smoothies juice and few more. Everything was sooper. Ma'am can you please share traditional healthy baby food (including porridge) if you know. My son is 2 yrs and want him to have healthy eating habits.

Mam...I tried ur receipe and it turned it out amazing.Instead of peanut used a mixture of all assorted dry fruits and black raisins. As I have sweet tooth added 2tsp organic jaggery. Thanks for sharing this simple and delicious recipe. 🥰

Thank-you for this recipe - it is super-easy to make and turns out exactly as you have shown! I replaced peanuts with almonds and instead of just raisins, I added a mix of raisins, pine apple and sultanas. I also added goji berries. It is delicious!

Thanks for the information, ln my opinion , soak the ragi grains overnight, next day drain the water dry it in a shadow, fry it in a kadai. U will get popped ragi & then grind it flour, this is called as ragi hurittu Which tastes better with very good aroma, it is also readily available in the market

I do a similar laddu with fried sesame seeds, flax seeds and dates. We have one daily in the morning along with a glass of vegetable juice (carrot, beetroot, ginger, tomato, spinach, cucumber and apple). This makes our early mornings very heavy.

@@payaljain515I generally prepare it during humid weather..never tried it in rainy season. it was too yummy got over within a week even after keeping it out..yes, provided you don't touch it with wet hands. If at all you prepare it during rainy season then just keep it in fridge and remove it out 1 hr before consuming it n keep it back. Hope this helps

Hello Nisha I made these laddoos today and I have to say what a wonderful easy recipe this is!!! I followed exactly but added some chocolate chips too while grinding the ingredients, and it has added an amazing chocolate flavour:)) we love these laddoos!!! Already shared your recipe with many of my friends! Wish I could share pics of my laddoos too. They look so yummy :)

Ma'am....nice receipe...but ragi flour is not cooked, only roasted. Is it digestible? Can we give to 4 years old kid?

isn't this how laddus are made? we just roast besan when we make besan laddu. or only roast semolina(rava/sooji) when we make rava laddu. roasting is one way of cooking, just like frying or boiling or steaming.
