Would use powdered peanut butter and some water instead, stick to the agave or honey but I would reccommend to chill the popcorn on the freezer for a couple or minutes even up to a half hour so once the mixture hits the popcorn it wont absorb it and shrink and also will cool faster.

Plain kernels of popcorn can be popped in the microwave: Place 1/4 cup kernels in a plain brown paper lunch bag. Fold over the top about 1" and 3-4 times. Lay the bag flat in the microwave and run it on high for 2-3 minutes, watch carefully and remove once the popping almost stops.
@mihajlo37954 жыл бұрын
don't know if this is 100%, but bags can release some toxic stuff, so microwave safe bowl with baking paper would be safer

I think brown sugar would work just fine...more calcium, iron, potassium vs agave, which is high in fructose and may cause fatty liver disease. ..just saying, plus 17 calories in brown sugar vs 21 calories in agave syrup....I will give this recipe a try though, it looks good.
