In trans golgi galactose and N acetyl neuraminic acid or sialic acid residues are added, not N acetyl muramic acid ..... Othaerwise it is well explained and very much helpful for understanding the topic clearly

These proteins are encoded to be acid hydrolase and the residue composition is crafted such that it can withstand low pH .Its a very good question. I might make a video on that
