The longer the protests continue, the more it reinforces the notion that Romania is quickly going to become the seat of power in the entire world if they become the seat of power in Europe. I wonder if the students protesting grew up with nothing in cold frozen orphanages, they would have a greater appreciation for the fact that there can be a conversation at all about the continuing Ukraine War and whether we want to put people in direct confrontation. There is no genocide. An analog for the Gaza War was the Battle of Manila in 1945. The Japanese fought from underground tunnels and held thousands of hostages. The civilian casualty rate was 90%, while in Gaza it started at 60%, and then was halved and then halved again. So, we can conclude from a military perspective that 42,510 Palestinians over 200 days, given the circimstances, is a low casualty rate.
