@@gonzaarmt2818 The drums in most Protomartyr songs aren't hard, but they are incredibly unique and creative, especially considering he uses such a tiny kit. Alex Leonard is an EXCELLENT drummer.

Met them after a show in Philly, and offered me and my buddy a shot of Jameson. Super talented and humble guys, got a life long fan out of me!

This is my favorite song. It pains me how late I am. I love this genre and sound so much but I’m almost a decade late.

Love the guitar tone. Anyone know what equipment he uses?
@slayerus234 жыл бұрын
Hey. Just noticed this here, posted two months ago. Nothing fancy, really. For overdrive/distortion think of pairing of a tubescreamer type of pedal and a Rat-esque pedal straight to a clean amp (Fender/Vox), those two are the foundation of his tone. Then two reverb pedals for two layers of "depth" (I can recall he used two TC Hall of Fame) and a guitar with bright humbuckers.
