At 2:23 when you added the reverb and delay, how did they automatically appear on your record track? I didn't make it past that part of the video because I simply can't figure that one out.. Sorry for the newbie question! I transitioned from Logic.
@ReidStefanMusic6 ай бұрын
I believe video editing made it look automatic but he clicked and added the send after creating the new tracks. It doesn’t automatically appear

Reid. I need a favor my guy. I just got the Prism Titan and can’t find any good videos on how to use the Software. Will you consider making a mini course on how to use the software, especially with connecting and using hardware?
@ReidStefanMusic6 ай бұрын
The app has very few features to explain beyond basic volume levels & mute buttons. The A/I page controls analog input settings. The A/O page controls analog output settings. My mic goes thru my analog preamp & compressor before going into Titan input 1, it’s connected line level with a 1/4 inch cable. My vocal chain is setup for recording thru, never for mixing stems from my DAW. 2 of My visualizer/analyzer devices are connected to extra speaker outputs, which are set to mirror my main speaker 1-2 outputs. My digital Clarity M Steteo analyzer connects with an optical cable also setup to mirror my main output 1-2. Titan has no built-in loopback channel, so I created one by connecting an RCA SPIDF cable looping my output back into the input, then mute the SPIDF channel in the App’s A/O page to avoid feedback loop noise 👍

@@ReidStefanMusic Can you do a video on all of that? If you, I'll purchase some whole loops or join your mix lab for a few months.

If there are no plugins on the master track, or if the plugins are not activated, the latency displayed on the track is 0. Why does it bring us latency? I don't quite understand. Can you take a video to explain it?

So having the beat hovering around -14db peak give or take & easing the overall headphone levels will help hear your vocals better when tracking ? & going into the mix , the limiter on the master bus will raise the levels back up ?
@ReidStefanMusic7 ай бұрын
Yes Nash personally likes to hear is vocals loud & clear over the beat while he sings. Some singers prefer the beat louder. The headroom is also helpful for maximum flexibility later in mastering
@blueswingdown7 ай бұрын
@@ReidStefanMusic I feel having the beat quiet works better as well, since if the beat was too loud, it may bleed in via headphones. Same with metronomes

This uses the lowest possible plugin count while still giving you autotuned vocals on every track. Plus busses for group adjustments
@nanho7 ай бұрын
@@ReidStefanMusic Yes, I finally figured out the paths the voice goes through, but does that mean I have to record the autotune directly onto the audio file, if I understand correctly? It's risky if we end up not liking the result as much during the mix
@ReidStefanMusic7 ай бұрын
@@nanhoyes this is how T-Pain and Chris Brown famously route their autotune specifically so mix engineers down the road can’t change their tune settings. Viewers were constantly asking me to breakdown their routing 👍 you can also record dry and add autotune later using one of the channels in this template
