Seven years not ten, you can say tensions started earlier when the US does not accept the agreement in 1954 setting the 17th parallel. There was also no official declaration of war, Vietnam became the first of many policing actions.

i love this game's exposition, everyone treats alex like a dumbass with exactly 0 attention span lmao the developers know you're here to surfboard human beings into paste so they've gotta repeat the instruction 6 times over because you probably stopped paying attention half way through a cutscene that's like 2 minutes long. hey mercer take out the helicopters, it's so this guy can't get away, take out the helicopters so he can't get away, did you hear me mercer? MERCER PUT THE PEDESTRIAN DOWN AND PAY ATTENTION THIS IS IMPORTANT WHAT DID I SAY ABOUT THE HELICOPTERS. f to pay respects to cross he was the only person in the whole game with even a CRUMB of a decent plan haha

wow I have seen some wooden acting but this is a whole other level. The cutscenes with characters are nothing but telling you your next objective as plainly as possible. Its sounds like when you just get your objectives in game while playing and a new objective pops up.

I kinda expected her to freak out more or maybe even cry but she just shrinks away or gives exposition all while having an oddly monotone voice. Even her "no matter what you're still my brother" was so, so deadpan it just didn't sell the line at all. The one time she actually emoted with her voice was when she was cussing out blackwatch troops in a memory.
