not sure if he can overrides but I think he really was trying to hide from the elizabeth greene's son, as I understand he was stronger than Mercer Besides is so weid that Mercer's sister is his ally in prototype 1 and in 2 suddenly is her foe, ironically she was in red zone so.... weird I think all that happened in 2 was Mercer's plan to get Heller's ADN because he could not consume Heller

Real Alex died and so did his personality that's why he has no memory to begin with. The "Alex mercer" we're playing is the virus itself. He just gain human consciousness by consuming the Alex and use it as his default human form. A virus that becomes something more. To me that's whats makes him truly unique and superior than heller.

I'll tell you honestly that the first part of the prototype is considered the best, unlike the second part, unfortunately. In the first part, everything looks atmospheric and there is a large selection of mutations for Alex Mercer. The atmosphere goes to p2. People who say that prototype 1 has a better story or atmosphere or either nostalfags or are just hating P2 too much. The first game has the worst missions that straight up made me want to rip my hair out due to how stupid the balancing in prototype is. I did'nt intend for this to be a whole ass rant but i mean god damn yall gotta give some credit to prototype 2 for fixing issues the first game suffered from.

Heller won, blacklight became his slave that only does what heller wants him to do.
