The big money is in the pl unless you go to Saudi and he made it clear that wasn’t an option. Depending on how he performs for Villa and I think he’ll do well he could still get the move to a more prestigious club, but he’ll still need to reduce his wage demands. Villa are a big club tbf and in a lot better position than Utd are or will be for some time. Going by this window the rebuild could take a minute.

In the 13 games he managed, he already lost 7 games. Arteta inherited one of the worst squads Arsenal ever head. Amorim inherited a squad that finished 3rd only 2 years ago.

Darragh MacAnthony, according to Wiki, is a Liverpool FC supporter: I don't think think he was too out of order. If Amorim is supported he may turn out to be the best manager MUFC have had for a long while. However, it will take a few spins of the transfer market wheel to get the players he wants out -out, and the players he wants in-in. And selling Utd as a destination of choice for world-class 'ballers is going to be a hard one if they're not in the Champions League or even in the Europa. In the meantime, LFC, the Gooners, Citeh, Chelsea and arguably Villa with squads brimming with talent are only going to get better in the next few years.

We all accept United are a poor side and to be honest they've been average at best for the last ten years. However, during that period, they've been out of the top six once, finishing runners up twice to a very good Man City side. People are acting like this is exclusively a Marcus Rashford problem. United have been a graveyard for top talent for many years. United are a million miles away from challenging Liverpool this season and for the foreseeable future. The reality is United are now in the market for lottery players in the £25-£40m market.

@ this is a club that used to have values, it was respected around the world and now they’ve gone Sir Jim running it like Mr Burns runs the nuclear power plant in Springfield. I mean his last big contribution to Manchester United was after the 2022 World Cup. After, not before, after. Before that World Cup he was Average. After that he contributed a lot. He’s the only player in his prime who’s earning 350K a week to be sold for 40M. There’s no other. If you are earning that much you should play like Salah. And you should be sold at least 90M.

So we are performing open fckin heart surgery and getting rid of players that won't follow instructions..aren't good enough..or think they are bigger than the club. We are amassing young talented players. We have signed some already. He got rid of players at Sporting Lisbon and replaced them with players that suit his system. The outcome was success. He was scouted and hired to bring success. He is going to do it slowly and painfully. Rome was not built in a day. As fans we have seen improvements plus he knows the players that he trusts and gives their all, week in and week out. Win or lose.
