Remember I talked about the okna 600 in another video ? Well our closest okna dealer was like 2 hours and 20 minutes away and would really rather deal with someone closer. We have a reputable company in my town who deals with the provia line. I got a chance to check out the endure provia window and it seems like a pretty dang decent window, even the thinner framed model under it was pretty nice, just not as many options but think I would still be happy with either one. Like I said with the okna windows do you still think our under 13,000 budget for our 12 windows is feasible with the endure windows?

Yes Provia Endure is a high energy efficient window. Some people complain about the frame and the sash thickness on a higher side, a lot of glass real estate might be lost. But If you have big windows on the other hand that’s should not be a problem for you. Yeah if you get Provia Endure around $13,000 that’s definitely is a good deal

I ordered Provia Aspect, before the salesman ordered it he said I could get the Endure it wouldn’t cost me more they are running some type of offer, I’m to give him my answer by Monday should I stay with the Aspect or change to Endure. It all sounds odd, and next question is which one is better I have already given my deposit definitely getting them

Both Windows Provia Aspect and Endure are great Windows. You can definitely go with Endure if it is at the same price level, that’s the higher end window. Just keep in mind that Endure has a thicker frame than Provia Aspect. If you have small windows Aspect might be better option, so that you do not loose a lot of glass real estate. Endure has more color options for the hardware and has Tilt and Lock system, this feature gives it a cleaner look for the top of the bottom sash. Energy efficiency wise they are both good options

Provia Endure or Marvin Fiberglass, witch one is better

Both windows are worthy choice. It depends what goals you are trying to achieve with your window project. If your windows are not too big, then Marvin fiberglass is gonna give you more glass real estate, as well as the frame looks more refined. If your main goal energy efficiency and performance then Provia endure is a great choice. Keep in mind that Marvin Fiberglass is less budget friendly and you are gonna have to make much more sizable investment into your window project

Between pella 250 and endures which one is good?

Pella 250 is a worthy option as well, it is an energy efficient window with high durability ratings. The negative side of Pella 250 is that it has a much bulkier look, then Provia Endure. If you have smaller windows, you are gonna loose much more glass real estate than with Endure window. Pella 250 does not have lock and tilt system, that gives a cleaner look for the bottom sash, while Provia Endure window has it. For you to decide, but I think Provia might blend in better into the house decor

Does this window come in black color on the outside?

Yes it does. This window comes in black color on the exterior and white interior. It does have much more exterior colors as well

Is there any way to ajust the Provia brand to open taller on the double hung? I dont like newer windows that will not open all the way.

Hello, the reason the top and bottom sashes do not open all the way up, because there stops on each side. They prevent the locks from hitting the frame of the window

I understand your point, but the window stops about 4 to 5 inches from top. Can stop not be shorter? My 2 bedroom windows only open 11 inches, does not seem safe if a fire happens.

@@sandywjo5 yes you can make the stop shorter, by pulling them out of the frame and making them smaller. Just make sure that when you open the windows, you do not hit the locks against the frame

No, Provia Endure when it is a replacement window frame it comes in Double Hungs only
