Toxic is a word that's thrown around way to often, when the truth is that it was just different. We live in a world where people like to act like they celebrate diversity. They love it...until it's different and they don't like it. Art comes at a cost. As an artist I may work 20 hrs to finish a product once I get in the groove. As a football player I would consistently put in 12-15 hour days. It's the cost of greatness at times.

In my eyes, its very hard for Rockstar to fumble the bag, because Rockstar has a very good history of creating masterpieces, like RDR2, GTA V, GTA IV, etc. They already have the foundation set for them and I really hope Rockstar implements some features from RDR2 into GTA VI

@@CrackedJust1n If we base ourselves on leaks, RDR2 was a basically testing grounds for GTA VI’s features The AI, random events, persistence of consequences of your actions, other events and dialogues triggered by your actions in random events, etc Basically what made RDR2 feel so good, so "alive"

It’s not graphics, although nice and realistic graphics are a « foundation » for the game, it’s these tiny AI, triggers, events, what you do affecting the world in a persistent and definitive way, etc etc etc that really make the game feel real and alive. That’s what glues the player in. Which means they’ll likely push this to a whole other level on GTA VI, which means you’ll probably need a good CPU for that game. RDR2 already was very CPU intensive, way more than the vast majority of games. GTA VI will be even more

Idk if you've heard, but GTA VI is on it's "final stages" of game development. And Rockstar is asking their employees to come back to their offices for 5 days a week. Which, (according to an article by Jason Schreier.) has employees upset and calling it a "reckless decision". I hope the work conditions at Rockstar are better than the last. Security reasons or not, it's always best to value workers' mental health than anything. With that said, I really hope to see GTA VI in early 2025. Or at least a 2nd trailer this year! 🙏

Seeing as customer from them, i can surely with confidence it won't flop. Rockstar only hires veterans or people who are good enough in a certain area. Also Dan and many other OG's at the company stated it was Take2 fault, these toxic guys were put by Take2, Straus doesn't understand that the market one day will be saturated. If i was on his place, GTA 6 would be the last GTA until 2032, Rockstar needs to invest in new games, or create sequels (Bully or Agent, or even a new genre game) Rockstar it's not all about GTA or RDR, it's a company who can do a lot of more with other things!

I was worried the good conditions at rockstar would ruin the game, because as much as it sucks usually the best work gets done when people are are working insane hours at it. I was worried if things get to relaxed that it might show in how good the game is.

I haven't even watched the video yet but I am about to give you the 3 main reasons why GTA VI will NOT be a flop and why the very first version of the game (we already know that we are going to get COUNTLESS DLCs throughout the years and several console versions) is going to be much better than the first version of GTA V. 1) Development time: GTA V was released 5 years after IV and Rockstar in the mean time released RDR and La Noire. So throughout those 5 years they were not even 100% focusing on GTA V. GTA VI will come out after ELEVEN years of development and with just RDR II being a major title released between the release of GTA V and the release of GTA VI. 2) Platform: GTA V was developed by taking the X360 and PS3 as a reference but both consoles were outdated by the time GTA V came out. In fact, just a few months after the release of the game, the PS4 and XONE were released. This meant that Rockstar had to hold up their ambition and development potential quite a lot. GTA VI is getting developed by using the current generation of consoles as a reference and those consoles are basically in the middle of their life span as the new gen is expected to be released not earlier than 2027. 3) Experience: GTA V certainly was not the first chapter of the series chronologically but it has been the very first one in certain key aspects. For example the multi-character gameplay or even GTA ONLINE (Yes GTA IV had an online system but it sucked and it was super bare bones). It's super hard to nail something on the first try. With GTA VI's solo and online development, Rockstar will have been able to rely on a 10 year-long experience with GTA V Online and also a 5 year-long experience with RDR II and it's online. They have sooo many more datas and reference points this time so they won't have any excuse to mess it up, this time. That's it folks..with this being sad, I am not claiming that the chances are 0....but it's very VERY hard for me to imagine this game being a flop....Cause there really would be no excuse for it. My main fear is related to the online potentially being a cash-grabber even more than what it is in GTA V

I’m interested in seeing how much both the gaming industry and content community will shift after the release of the game in terms of software design and video creation. We already know both Sony and Microsoft are releasing new hardware (PS5 Pro and a new Xbox Series X) right before GTA 6, but Im excited to see how many developers will use ideas and tools that are implemented in GTA 6 for their games. The AI will absolutely be heavily studied, as well as the physics in the game. In terms of content, we already have people starting up channels specifically for GTA 6 content due to how important this game is as well as this game will always having attention drawn on it for at least a decade and more. With this in mind, I want to see all the different ideas creators will have for their content like the speed runs, the challenges, the theories, the video essays. I believe it was the president of Ubisoft that said before the current gen came out, that they were going to be releasing AAAA games and that's why the price has increased. Myself and so many others are yet to see one of these AAAA games or games that actually feel "next gen". Now that GTA 6 is coming out, how expensive it is and how much Rockstar pushes the boundaries; I believe this will be the first truly next gen game and that it will also be the first AAAA game. Companies will lazily copy GTA 6 in a very corporate way, by making their games located in Miami or copying the Bonnie and Clyde setup, but in terms of hitting the same quality; probably not. Will be interesting though and I am anticipating how GTA 6 will impact the industry, even if it's in a good or bad way

The internet will absolutely break when the game comes out, I think there will be so much content on the platform it'll be difficult to do something that hasn't been done before As for me, I have plans for the GTA 6 release. I'm not going to rush out a review, I'm going to take a month of KZbin just to play the singleplayer 100% through, then make a breakdown video of the game. I never intend to really be a "gta" channel, a lot of my viewers primarily watch me for my rockstar content which is okay because I mean, I love Rockstar! But I'd like to make videos about other games as well in the future

By the way i just saw an Article on the gaming Bible that gta 6 might be delayed after all, because of "broken promises" regarding "crunch culture"/working too much. I dont know what is gonna happen but i just hope that Rockstar Games is not gonna rush the launch for gta 6 which i dont think they will do, personally. At least, even if there will be a delay, we will get a great fully game, instead of a gta where Rockstar have to add things to the game after launch. I rather wait a little more even if it is a little longer, considering we have waited long before. But again, Rockstar Games always use their time because they want to make the best games possible which is commendable to be fair. Considering the team behind gta 6 is 3,000-4,000 personnel, it shouldnt be out of the realm of possibility that a team of 10-20 people (if not more) had been in early stages of development for it since 2013 for early prep/planning work, to include concept art, story planning, map design, internal operational planning for scaling the company larger, infrastructure growth, etc.. Also some execs could've been working on planning part time on the side. They likely did mass hiring between 2014-2016 for both RDR 2 and GTA 6 teams (but mostly for RDR 2), then 2017-2018 focused 96% on hiring for gta 6. Once Rdr 2 launched, thats when they shifted all studios over officially to GTA 6 (merging with all teams they had just brought on for gta 6) to operate at 100% development speed on GTA 6 at a scale they've never done before.

This video is good but I disagree with the original writers thing. Correct me if im mistaken but I've searched online and never played RDR2 but according to my info it came out in 2018/2019 when the original writers were still working in the studio and they left in 2020. So GTA 6 could potentially flop without them. Also Dan Housser was one of the original writers who left and worked on RDR2 hes the one who was responsible for making the original GTA series so good. Edit: I know there are other veterans but these were the main writers responsible.

It says on the indeed page for Micheal Unsworth that he wrote for GTA 6 before he left, so Dan Houser definitely did as well. That would mean that Micheal Unsworth and Dan still wrote GTA 6, the extent of their contribution is up for debate though however Micheal was still the head of writing on Rockstar during that time so it was probably significant

Expect RDR 2 But in a GTA world with better AI and more activities nothing more. I get the hype in thinking R* can do no wrong but lets not forget the last 10 years of horrible treatment of GTA online milking and the complete abandonment of RDR online. Plus they allowed the R* logo and rep to be smeared with the definitive editions. This is not the same R* it used to be Gta 6 will be a good game but don't be expecting anything more than a Rdr2 in a gta world.

I'd disagree, even back around GTA 5 and before RDR2 which was a massive stepping stone, Rockstar allowed their logo to be put on the terrible Xbox 360 port of San Andreas where you couldn't even beat the game because of a broken mission It's just history repeating itself, I think GTA 6 will be way better than RDR2 but I do understand your concern and I think you're playing it smart

I truely believe that gta 6 will succeed. My main concern that there may not be enough consoles. I wouldnt be surprised if consoles sell out. Alot of people will want there own console to play it.

@CrackedJust1n I don't know if xbox would go hard on making consoles. I think they just make a limited amount. That's why they were on sale this holiday. We're the ps5 didnt. They just keep up with demand. They don't make more then they have to. I assume the ps5 pro will have to come out in large numbers or scalpers will sell them for double price. I wouldnt be surprised if used consoles go up in price. Some people would even just get the series s because it will run gta 6. The gta 6 trailer is at 170 million views and there are only like 80 million current gen consoles out. I wouldnt be surprised if some consoles come with gta 6 like a special edition.

I’m pretty sure that the laws for this game is going to be the most insane thing to ever happen. It will not flop, but I am have doubts about writing and lack of "timeless classic" feel that RG has and a disappointed with modern setting. If GTA goes to 2025 it should be more electric cars like cybertruck and Al is a big thing today. The main characters cars in the trailer and wallpaper are from museum, it's not mainstream cars. The fans are overrating this game, they cannot see these things and they not allow any criticisim.

GTA VI sure is gonna be a masterpiece, and I do believe that. But still, how positive/badass the storyline for GTA VI will be, it cannot beat GTA IV’s dark and gloomy narrative, which I really, really liked. GTA IV is still, in my opinion, the best written game. Ever. And this will remain that way. I really liked GTA V, and I am sure that I will like GTA VI, but my appreciation for GTA IV cannot even come close to these games. But still, I am so excited for GTA VI, and I also hope so that GTA IV has a remaster (and it better be that it is Rockstar themselves that remaster GTA IV).

Nahhh; I half agree, GTA 6 won't be a "Flop" - it'll probably easily clear a billion or 2 in no time. But long run, I'm pretty confident GTA 6 is going to be the point of no return for the franchise; I expect the game to have a short, boring story, unlikable characters, and double down on streamlining gameplay, story, and content for "all audiences" - not outright saying it'll be bad, not like Saints Row reboot bad, not like Starfield bad, but I think it's going to expend on things real fans aren't interested in, trying to casualize the game by sanding down all the edge of the previous decades of the franchise. I also expect most of the reason the above will happen is because most of the game will function as a means to railroad players into online; more than likely by trying rush players through the game to get to online, in the same way CoD games have slowly cut back on the single player content to focus on multiplayer, to the point that GTA 7 will probably just straight up be an MMO with no single player/offline content. I'm honestly not going to be happy if ten years from now this comment is dug up out of the digital landfill and held up as some prophetic statement about how it ended up calling the death of the franchise a decade before it happened... But hey, I'm working off everything I've seen the major AAA publishers doing over the last decade to inform my opinion of the future, and it looks... bad...

I don't think you've done your research on GTA Plus, when GTA 6 online comes out it's going to be a clean slate meaning they can block the best fastest cars behind a paywall or a monthly subscription imagine not being able to get the fastest car on release day because you didn't pay an extra $9 a month that is a very big reason on how the game could flop if they don't learn the lesson from their GTA plus program

If Gta 6 failed then Rockstar failed and the gaming industry will be on fire. Maybe the internet too. Rockstar can't messed this up all eyes is on them right now waiting on Gta 6 to see will it be a success or not?
