That someone better not be me as I am not trying to figure out how to evenly and discreetly place 900 pinecones or make that many egg minigames. The party system would be simple on RPG maker. It would first be a fixed party that adds characters in the order of Dennis, Archibald, Sonja Rica then Lysanderoth, then we remove Lysanderoth and I believe we add unnamed mage to the game. Archibald is permanently removed just before the system begins to allow for party member swapping. Gunther will then be added to the playable roster through story events and Bradicus and Chadicus will be found as optional extras, possibly through sidequests. After the Lysanderoth fight, Sexica will be added to the playable roster. Judging by one of the videos, some sort of replacement Archibald may also be added to the playable roster, giving a total of 7 or 8.

I think this issue occurs because a lot of games in a genre can become copy paste or generic. You know the regular beats it goes through so you get bired and don't bother. Normally I always listen to the story, but even i can't be bothered. I rather learn through the game and listen to cutscenes. Like if I wanted cut scenes galore i would watch a movie. That's prob why I don't play rpgs often. They all are generic and uninteresting but the in-game dialogue and the game play, exploring maps, etc is super fun for me. It really depends on the type of games i think.

To add, even my all time fav, zelda botw, i didn't care for the memories. I watched it on my first play through but i hated it. Later realized I just super hated the English and later changed to japanese audio but the story was plain, i know what it was gonna do, nothing special. I wouldn't miss out on anything if I didn't watch it but i did on my first play through just to ensure I understood the characters. The game itself tho, the in game dialogue with characters were far more fun. I can't explain. Even the random talking about weather was more fun to me that watchijg a cutscene. It just really depends on the person I think and what they are looking for in a particular game.

If you have a ps4/5 I would suggest games like Horizon Zero Dawn or Ghost of Tsushima, or most ps exclusives. HZD especially has a good story with a great build-up and some fantastic world-building, plus i think it’s fun to play.

@@twinklesprinkle1318 I dont think thats how it works, 1/1 = 2/2 and if thats the case then 0/0 = 1/1. 0/0 is basically one whole therefore it is considered a perfect score; for instance if i had a math test with 2 questions and the mark was out of 0 i would have 2/0 but if i got them wrong i would have 0/0. The mark does not matter however the larger the number to the left is, the greater the score is "1/0 is probably like 110% or something like that" a whole is 100% and so it just keeps going up.

For anyone confused Lygar was an ancient god who ruled over the land peacefully, however king dragon(known just as dragon at the time) became his right hand man and tried to coerce him to open the chaos door but this backfired on dragon as the power of the door corrupted Lygar and sealed dragon away, with his newfound power and sadism Lygar became a cruel ruler and abused his power but a group of heroes fought Lygar and banished him to another realm, thousands of years later Lygar was reincarnated in Lysanderoth, when he was a teenager he joined the army with his best friend Archibald and during one mission he felt a strange force calling him and he went towards it, however this turned out to be king dragon and accidentally released him from his prison and then he destroyed Lysanderoth’s village killing his fiancé Ophelia and sent Gunther to the neighbouring city telling him this was Lysanderoth’ fault, meanwhile Lysanderoth memories of Lygar were awakened and filled with anger he swore that he would destroy king dragon and open the chaos door so that he could possibly bring back Ophelia and reclaim his lost power. Not a cutscene, but I occasionally press a button on accident and skip a line or two of dialogue in Tales of Vesperia. Just the way my hand rests on the Pro controller I guess. Now, I've played that game before, but it usually happens during those moments with Patty that weren't in the original Xbox 360 release, and there's no way to go back other than to reload a save and redo 5 minutes of other dialogue and battles most of the time.
