My Hollowbody I has the piezo, but it also has binding on the neck and bird inlays that are outlined, but not filled in--if that makes sense. I've been searching YT for another one like it, but can't find one. Enjoyed your video. Also, mine is a 2013. Yours is? What string gauge are you using? I think mine came with .011s, and PRS told me if I wanted to use .010s I'd need a new nut. Others have told me differently, but I still haven't tried it .Just curious what you were using.

Sounds wonderful. I know what you’re describing. Thanks for checking out the video. Mine is a 2007 model. There is a good chance that yours is a Hollowbody 2. (If it has a flamed maple back and binding.) I use .010s on most of my guitars. I didn’t have to adjust the nut on this guitar, which was surprising. All the best 👍

I play an S2 24 and was really looking at a Vela. Something about a semi hollow now is on my wish list. You know how that is , tone chase. Anyway I was afraid of feedback playing it live. Have you played yours live? Any FB?

Thanks for getting in touch. I’ve used the HB many times on big stages and had no issues with FB. It’s pretty controllable. I use a reasonable amount of gain at times too. Good luck 😉

I recently picked up a Private Stock very similar specs otherwise...with Brazilian Rosewood freeboard -- I don't like the Hollow Body II... I feel it robs from the sound. And yes, so light! 5.5lbs!
