Prune Mui is a Chinese candy that can be found in stores all around the state of Hawaii. I instantly loved it and am excited we can make it too!

Thanks for the great question! This is a variation from a book titled “Molokai Catholic Community Cook Book” We made a variation from authors Pauline L. Castanera (Prune-Apricot-Peach Moi) Renee and Hana Yasso (Prune Mui) & Queenie Alsadon (Prune Mui) on page 160.
