Vita TVs were extremely cheap back in the day. After more and more people started to get into homebrew and emulation and people started collecting it too, the prices went up. I remember seeing one, fully boxed for 10$.

A couple days ago a friend aaked me if i wanted his....he wanyed 400€ for it. I told him to stop being delusional. He was deadass convinced it cost that much at launch and so he wanted to sell it for that. I saw some back when the vita was out, in a bargain bin for like 20€

I bought my PSVita slim last year on sale for around $140. It was nearly spotless. It was then jailbroken using your guides. I still have a fat PSVita that's not been jailbroken, but I love redundancy, so I will probably do so soon.

many people still think ebay is the same, and its fair, like 15+ years ago ebay was notorious for having no safety almost, it was reallty a wild west, but now its prob just as secure as amazon, i buy from both places alot also, actually brought one 2 days ago, a PSvita 1000 from germany, i am stoked

I paid $79 USD with shipping *in 2020* from eBay Japan for a like new Japanese 3G Launch Edition complete in the box. and $50 for a 32gb memory card from Japan too. Took 2 weeks to arrive. Circle and cross buttons are swapped. Henkaku options can switch that.

I paid 59 euro's for my PS Vita 1000, because the charging port was broken, so i know it was broken, and i converted it to micro usb, i took out the accessories port and in its place i soldered in a micro usb port, i used lacker wire to jump the data connections, and i used very thin black and red wires for the power, which are thicker than the lacker wire (which is 0,2mm and the red/black wires are 0,5) and the console is working great! I did put some pressure foam (a piece of very dense black foam that, if you press it inwards, it springs back slowly to its original size, i don't know how it's called though) in the original chargingport location, to keep debree out. And i have it now for about a year, and it's working flawlessly, i have a 256gb sd card in there and it's an awesome lil console i use all the time! So i think i had a very good deal on an oled PS Vita!

Just pulled the trigger on a PS Vita 2 years after this video was posted. $120 OLED PCH-1000. I really wanted the OLED screen the most and I liked how clean it looked over the 2000 model. Plus it’s imported from Japan so I’m excited to have my first ever Japan release console!

eBay is amazing, I just picked up a vita for 60 bucks. It’s just a little dirty but it fully works. Ima clean it and jailbreak it

Pstv is more cause less were made, cannot find anywhere also hdmi out, also up to 4 player. You can also hookup fight sticks and stuff to it. The tv price makes since and won’t ever be less

If you want to emulate, while having access to ps vita games, buy a vita. If you SPECIFICALLY ONLY want to do emulation, a retro handheld suits your needs.

I have to agree on this one. Bought two cards and wondered why half of the files I had copied to them were gone when trying to open them. Most of what was left was unreadable. Just classic fake cards, having about 2GB of actual storage, but pretending to the filesystem to be 256GB. And it seems to be pretty common on ebay. Apart from that: nice video! It helped a lot in picking the right offer!

There is a pawnshop in my city that always has ps vita 1000 models for sale for 120$ cdn. I already own one but have a hard time not buying more lol, my bro orderd one off ebay for 220, little bit pricey but still not bad.
