@JerryMarshallj22 if your saying that they stool AR from the 3ds, playstation first showed the eye toy in 1999 and released it in 2003 and that was AR, less advanced but they have been improving their AR since, obviously on ps3 with the camera, and now we are here with ps vita whenever it comes out.

I don't know why but I'm incredibly excited for all of the AR stuff, It just looks amazing. I'm not even a massive wipeout fan but I'm considering getting it just for the AR garage viewer thing ahaha. The alien dissecting thing absolutely awesome , I really hope theres some sort of game for it and it wasn't just to show off the AR

@roygib09 Vita is already in the tablet level while 3DS still in the handheld because its just dedicated on playing games. Vita has lots of features and is also powerful to compete with 3DS directly, its like saying Sony is trying to hit two birds with one stone.

I think they mean special Yu-Gi-Oh cards for the augmented reality thing to play the card game like normal, but have them actually pop out of the cards. :3

@SeriousAsianGuy Yes. Relatively speaking. Who do you think is going to have a better camera in their system? Sony, Microsoft, or Nintendo? Because last time I checked, Cannon wasn't really the biggest competitor in Videogames.... And I doubt people are really buying a ps vita for photography. Cameras are used for a lot more than that.

i love that alien thing.. but im guessing the stuff you can do is very limited.. like with that alien you can only probably look at bones and open his stomach. would be good if you could move the cardsa around to move different parts of the body like with the race track.

Its going on ebay lol, It came with about 7 AR cards and I got it working once I entered the code which came with them and got a free download of cliff diver. I think you have to buy each game individually after that which im guessing means you have to buy more AR cards if you buy certain games. Seems like to fully enjoy the Vita would cost about £300

Wii was okay, Move was amazing! 3ds AR is neat, Vita AR is the next level! I enjoy Nintendo and Sony but Sony delivers gaming on a new level... They always have. Still love my gameboy though, can't eff with paperboy... and pink buttons!

Your excuse still doesn't change the fact that most cases of 3DS AR sees it simply tracking a single card. I own both a 3DS and a Vita, which you probably don't. Just from sheer experience with AR (they've been doing this for about a decade now) and hardware superiority the Vita is the winner here.

not to bash on WAAR, but PSVita already does this without cards, you just need to view something that has distinct details the PSVita can create points for. I've been doing it with some tank demo.

Table Top Tanks, and Cliff Diving were released months ago. In the case of Cliff Diving it was a free launch title. And no, 3DS AR doesn't look better at all. It's quite clear that hardware struggles with AR as the frame rate in many of its titles are quite poor and few games even use it. Those that do use AR on 3DS tend to save it for non demanding features like statues and stuff.

most of the games are free or only cost a few bucks. if you lose your cards or need more for whatever reason sony has the templates on their site, you can download and print out for free.
