Welcome! These mics definitely help my sound come through as cleanly and accurately as (I feel) they sound in person. They are Earthworks DM20’s and come out of the box with the clips you see in the video. However as with all drum mic clips they can be hit or miss depending on the the Conga rim as well as how the head fits the drum 🙌🏼

Of course all of these variations are taught step-by-step with note for note transcriptions over the course of 20 successive lessons. The clave is specified before each example in each lesson, it is also present in the backing tracks in the slower examples which contain only clave and güiro. CongaChops.com/conga-qt-lessons
