PS2 Fat Customization - Window mod with clear top and RGB

In this week's episode I'm gonna show you the process to transform this old PS2 in a completely new and different console compared to the original one. I like to do crazy this with my creations. I bought this PS2 on eBay and had some issues with the optical drive. First the disc was not spinning. Fix that cleaning the laser lens. After that the system was not reading the disc. Fix that fining tuning the laser height. After days working on this project, cutting, sanding, cleaning, painting, soldering and controller customization, I present you the result. New life for this amazing PS2 Fat game console. Super clean inside and cool paint job outside. I hope you enjoy the video.

What can u say? This is a masterclass in both restoration and completely innovating that model of PS2. Amazing work. Just one question: how do you stay so quiet when doing breakdown and cleaning? That optical drive portion of the video was performed with watch-maker like precision and far more silent than prayer should ever be. You are a master! Great color scheme too.

Did some research into sanding plastic, apparently Scotch-Brite Pads (green heavy duty ones) are what professionals use on plastic motorcycle parts. Takes off that top coat very efficiently without tearing up the plastic, not sure if this would be a cheaper/better alternative to sanding for you, just thought I would share the information!
