Xbox 360 E Transformation - Copper and Black - Window mod and rgb lights

In this week's episode I'm gonna show you the process to customize xbox 360 E. I bought this game console on eBay, and it was in very bad shape. It was working properly but cosmetically speaking it was horrible. A lot of scratches, broken pieces inside and outside, awful smoke smell, very dirty overall. I decided to customize this one with a big modded side window and bluetooth rgb lights controlled by smart phone. Chose copper and black as the colors. I hope you enjoy the video.

I owned one and the only thing you lose is one usb pott and toslink but they are significantly queiter than slims.

It's only fault imo is the lack of optical output, I like to use Dolby Digital Live headphones with the 360 as they sound so good seeing as 360 games have DDL natively encoded into them.

@@droksbeel I think only the Winchester ones were which shrunk the dram and integrated it. The first year of them were still coronas with the same parts as the s ones.

I feel like you should put some holes in the acrylic sheet in a circular pattern right above the fan blades and leave the center with your logo solid where no ventilation is needed anyway. I mean temps are probably OK now, but given that you just cut off a good chunk of ventilation when the mod likely will cause more dust to be able to enter in the future, I feel like that console may have issues down the road. Otherwise, though, great job man it looks incredible

What a great restoration and customisation. I would gladly pay top dollar for something like that. Properly cleaned (and I mean really thoroughly), then carefully and creatively refashioned into something truly unique. Fantastic job!

3 questions for you. 1: do you ever encounter any RF interference issues from removing the shielding from the side of the case you cut the window into? 2: What magnets do you use to hold the window in place? 3: after removing the metal shielding what do the magnets actually stick to? Kids, smokers, consoles left on floor, etc... I once went to meet a guy to buy a 360 from him and he popped his trunk. He had all kinds of sh!t in there for sale, along with dirty car parts, tools, etc... Everything was pretty much trashed but the stuff I bought for dirt cheap did work just needed a complete tear down and serious cleaning.

Very cool video, however a flow in your design is the epoxy window covering the Xbox fan, it will get EXTREMELY hot in a short time without air cooling resulting in the console shutting itself down.

I left a space between the console and the plexi to allow a good airflow.

Please do an led installation video. Also, how does it perform thermally now the grille has gone. The hot air has to now make a 90 degree turn to escape? Always wanted to do that with mine but was hesitant with the heat
