please review dynasty tactics or ring of red, so many unique and good trp on ps2! gladius, front mission 4...

Some things, I believe that to get the good ending you can't kill any of your allies, and the normal and bad endings just appear if you kill a certain amount of them. And also, spears aren't so good. They lack damage and ironically aren't as good at killing enemies far away as swords are, they're more mobility focused. Swords actually get good AoE skills with pretty good damage. But if you want to go full broken with physical, then guns, scouts and Pleinair are where it's at.

Triple Exp is good, but only really for early game grinding. When you unlock the bonus stages and level up a few levels per kill, that's when it isn't really useful.

Oh yeah, the grinding is terrible on this one. It takes a fuckton load of time to get enough levels, and even if you try to level up your weapon mastery and equipment level it will still take a lot of trips to the item world. And that sucks because this item world is by far the most boring and least rewarding version of this mechanic in the series. At least you can go through the whole story with very minimal grinding as long as you know what you're doing. I managed to beat Etna's mode on a fresh save and very underleveled. But grinding is very rewarding and heavily encouraged, as the game is very stats focused.

Its no big deal if you mispronounce something. Japanese latinization is pretty natural. If you were dealing with chinese, you're be dealing with a lot of lying letters and things that sound nothing like theyre written.
