@melokschi I don't have a disc in, and my disc drive no longer works. The sensor itself works but nothing else and it should know that it doesn't have a disc. Wondering whether or not that's my issue.

for everyone having problems,follow these steps: (the usb must be plugged in the ps4) 1. unplug ethernet from ps4 and power off 2.turn on ps4,set up a new network connection,change usr and pass (it doesnt matter how,just change it) 3.plug the ethernet cable in the ps4,launch PPPwn,test connection 4.wait at least ≈ 2 minutes 5.if it grabs IP,it will retry 2/3 times and will work,just follow the steps and wait

go to devices on your ps4 and make sure that your usb is showing up! If its not its one of 3 things. 1 usb port isnt working, 2. Its not formated in exfat, 3. USB 3.0 causes conflicts, just went through it today trying to figure it out lol

You have to jailbreak it every time you shut it down. Most people are using sleep mode instead, so it never shuts down fully and keeps the jb intact

​@DickyArmayoga No the games and apps will have a padlock as goldhen and jailbreak will be disabled this is a tethered jailbreak which means u will have to redo it every time however to prevent loosing it just have the setting enabled that keeps goldhen activated from rest mode then by putting ps4 in rest mode you won't loose the jailbreak but a full power off will remove the jailbreak and have to re do the exploit but the usb won't be required the next time as goldhen then gets stored on the ps4 hdd for future use

Weird things happening on my ps4 pro. Jailbreak works fine but 1 time fail to wake up from sleep, I have to unplug cable cable and jailbreak again. And I lost sound output I’m not sure if that related with jailbreak. Before I was on 10 never had sound issue after upgrading 11 sound gone. Maybe I need to initialise again.

Because it's a tethered jailbreak, to be permanent on the system you need a mod chip, and the ps4 doesn't have it yet, so you need to do everything from the beginning again after rebooting, but if you install games, apps it will stay on system so no need to reinstall everything, just jailbreak it needed.

Yes u need laptop to reload it every time as the installed games and homebrew will have padlock the next time if u dont have the exploit activated just don't need the usb the next time as it stores goldhen on the ps4 hdd for the next time it runs exploit or u can put ps4 into rest mode and have the setting enabled that keeps goldhen activated from rest mode so u don't have to keep redoing it

The jailbreak is public and you can do it too but I wouldn't recommend doing it because it's really unstable and that might brick your PS4 so just wait a bit until they make it better
