Guys, if you cleaned your PS4 and have a problem getting the PS4 to turn on or it turns on then off, you may have put the power supply back in wrong. Make sure the two long metal pieces are straight and not bent to where it reaches the power brick. Not placing it back in correctly also may make it hard to put the other plastic back on and difficult to put the screws back in the PS4. Went through this myself. Hopes that's the case and you can save your money.

In my case I cut one of the power supply cords and ripped out the motherboard power supply connection. I just wanted to clean my PS4 Pro of dust and put more thermal paste in. R.I.P. PlayStation baby :/

maybe it hot overheated and you need to replace some parts , yo should open it completely and there should be the liquid in there , and if it’s dried up that might be the problem

I have an adp-200er, with 4.8v standby no problem. But as I turn on the 12v, 12v appears for an instant and goes and then the 4.8v mosfet, the 0.16ohm resistor and zd39 9.1v zener blows. Any suggestion where to look?

@How Not To yea dude it's hard to explain exactly what it is I need but I have a faulty ps4 psu I said I would replace for my little brother in the process of ordering him a new one online I thought to myself it would/could be good experience/lesson if I gave repairing it a shot since I found my self in the past learning to repair phone screens controllers as a rewarding hobbie (as a complete novice) this video in perticular happens to highlight what I believe to be a near identical fault to the exact model PSU I have, with strikingly similar component damage. apart from the fact that I seem to have multiple mossfit blow and both main fusses (small and big) the problem isn't the components I ordered spare r80s small fuses and mossfit to spec as well as having an old working Ps3 psu for the big fuse and what ever but the hard part is I don't really know for sure what a fault should look like other that the obvious signs of damage, fuses and mossfits with no continuity I suppose what I wonder is how I identify what is right and what is wrong(having no experience) and how to learn PS I won't hold it against you if this is to much lol

Game Console Repair Legion... I want to replace the 20mm fuse at the figure 8 mains cable entry point for my Pro with an upgraded audio/video grade pure silver fuse for a visual and audio tweak. I've heard and seen one through a friend of a friend and was quite surprised with the upgrade in performance, especially with movies, as he had a 2nd one for comparison. Thing is I don't have that suction tool that you have and haven't replaced a pig tail fuse before. Is it possible to just pop the fuse out or are they glued in at both ends of the fuse...and would I be able to just snip the wire at both ends and carefully solder to the end caps for continuity again ?... albeit with slightly shorter pig tails... Thank you

Hey how are you ? Hope you can help. I have to put my PS4 in front of the Air Conditioner for 2-3 minutes to start it. If I don’t so that then my ps4 doesn’t start. Blue light comes for a second then it turn off. But when I put it in front of the AC then it always starts without any issues and then I can play for even 5-6 hours as well without any problems. I think that there could be an issue with the power supply. Any suggestions bro ?

Ps5 power supplies are dying with no damage at all. You can check the fuse. But I have yet to see a blown fuse. Most the time it’s the DAP053T ic. Which is not available yet.

Use a friend's finger. 😂 You can use a multimeter in 200v. Just leave the leads on the capacitor prongs and watch the voltage drop.
