Lengthy development of a title isn't great news, and soon enough it's labeled as vaporware. So let's take a look at all the PlayStation vaporware out there that could still have a fighting chance at coming out. (But let's be real, it an't looking too good).

To anyone watching this now and wondering what happened with each game mentioned in this video... Kingdom Under Fire II _did_ finally get released in November 2019...and then the servers closed down two years later. The status of Deep Down remains inconclusive to this day. The director of Wild, Michel Ancel, retired from the game industry in 2020, sparking rumors of Wild being canceled. In 2021, Ubisoft reported that development on Beyond Good and Evil 2 was "progressing well", but did not bring up a release date for it. In June 2021, Tekken X Street Fighter director Katsuhiro Harada stated uncertainty about picking development for TXSF back up *or* canceling it. The most we've seen of Hellraid was an expansion for Dying Light in July 2020. Eyedentify is most likely canceled, given its status as a PlayStation Eye centric game. A former developer of London Studio revealed that Eight Days and The Getaway 3 had been canceled shortly after Phil Harrison was replaced by Shuhei Yoshida as president of SCE Worldwide Studios. The page for 2 Days to Vegas was taken off of Steel Monkey's website, all but confirming that it was canceled. Six Days in Fallujah is currently shooting for a Q4 2022 release. The trademark for Agent was abandoned in 2018, and the page for it was taken off of Rockstar Games's website.

Rockstar said they have started on GTA VI. But don't expect it until late 2020 or 2021. GTA V is still getting DLCs. Red Dead Redemption II has a lot of DLCs planned.

@@national1866 Going back to the 90's. Rockstar does not listen to NPCs. They do not care about social media. They just make great games. GTA V sold over 100 million copies. Red Dead it just passing 30 million. Journalist bad mouthed GTA's casino. Yet the are poring in the cash. Something CDPR should take notes on. Make the game and stop bending a knee to people that are not going to buy the game.

I am *SO* glad you brought Eight Days and Getaway 3 to light. I was really pissed when I heard that they were cancelled, only to pursue Eyepet and the like. If Sony Playstation gave The Getaway 3 the resources that they have given games like God Of War, The Getaway could potentially be one of their biggest IP. And yes, 2 Days to Vegas also! LoserPlay well blood and truth was my first but first person shoot that actually felt real. U have to actually take five and realistically aim down sights while also trying to doge all the chaos. Like climbing and shit. Blood and truth needs to get a sequel and they should include the one thing they removed the choice where u get to shoot the bald guy (I forget his name) anywhere u want. And they changed it to the machine gun killing him. Even a dlc for it would be awesome. London studios always puts experimental features into their games like the museum level.

It looks like 8 Days tech was swallowed by Uncharted 2, as that game fulfilled much of the promise of the 8 Days tech demo. I'd like to think that Polyphony Digital used the Getaway 3's assets for their london circuits, as they look as detailed as the PS3 Getaway trailers and tech demos that we saw, waaaaaaay back in the mid-2000s. It's crazy how much time has passed! Nearly 2020.

I think we might eventually get a Getaway reboot or something, because after Blood & Truth this year SCE London was hiring staff for an unannounced action game (when I read this I went to add new info to the wiki). I'm saying reboot because B&T was meant to be Getaway 3 - that and the fact that too much time has passed from the original makes me think only a fresh start is actually feasible.
