Can you help me? My PS4Pro bricked itself while autosaving and I had to pull the plug just to power it down. Of course it couldn’t access the storage after that, but I booted it into Safe Mode and rebuilt the database. It came back on and I saved all of my data by transferring to another console. Something was still very wrong, every time it went into Rest Mode it would cut it’s power and the next time I turn it on, “Can’t access system storage”. So this is when I wiped the HDD reinstalled the firmware aaand it still did the same thing. I even did it again, this time rewriting the whole HDD to NTFS. Still the same results. Is it just my PS4Pro? Is it really just scrambled to no return? Is it the hard drive, even though I redid the whole thing?

The usb has to be fat32 or exFAT. I believe you can use the back USB port but Ive only ever used to front USB ports for this.

Not sure why but somebody told me to block any messages that don't come from friends and to delete any notifications after they finish downloading so this won't happen again. I'm no expert on the PS4 but this sounds like some type of virus. Anyway, after the third time this happened to me I decided to buy a external hard drive and save all of my games on to that, so if I had to reinitialize the PlayStation 4 and delete all my data it wouldn't be a problem because all of my games are stored on the external hard drive and all of my saved game data is stored on the PlayStation Network Cloud since I'm a PlayStation plus member.

My 2tb SSHD randomly stopped working and I got the same message. I don't have any idea why. It's not the SSHD because I plugged it into my pc and it found no errors. Then on top of that after I got tired of trying to mess with it. I ended up just putting it in my pc because it was actually bigger and its an SSHD. It's been working fine in my pc ever since.

Fasttech I’m not really sure to be honest. when I try to boot up the system nothing happens for the longest time. no PlayStation emblem or anything. the system will sounds like it’s trying to do something then after about 3 minutes the PlayStation logo pops up then the screen shuts off again then comes back on and it’s black for about 2 minutes then the error message finally pops up.
