@@lonelypanda132 I've noticed after having this console for a fair bit that it's mostly older games, such as games that came out at launch and cross gens that get stuck on newer ps4s, tried playing an advanced warfare disc from 2014 and it got stuck, same with an mw2 disc from ps3

If u don’t have a tiny screwdriver just use a half of a tweezer, it was late and my friend and I didn’t have access to much so we used tweezers and it worked

For anyone saying that they can't insert a disc after removing the stuck disc, make sure to turn the screw back other way after removing the stuck disc.

It's actually not a screw at all...it's a gear...it's just easier to explain it as a screw. Most of the time (not always) if it doesn't work after this it's because there is something wrong with the drive.

READ THIS. Before you try this, turn off your PS4, and then turn it back on. Start the game that is stuck in your PS4, and then eject the disc. A lot of times this works and you don't have to mess with the manual eject(:

If you have a mini size disc (8 cm) stucked in PS4 slim console, put another disc in (regular 12cm size, preferably a spare one), then hold PS4 so the disc slot is facing the floor and press eject. Then both discs ejects at the same time.

Here is what worked for me: -turned off and cut off from powersupply -waited for 5mins -booted in safe mode -installed firmware update -tried to start game which was stuck -showed error and didnt work -tried again -worked and started the game -ingame pressed PS button and then options button -> eject disc manually -worked My theory is, that if I would have tried to start the game in the first place, it would have showed the error, but then would have worked second try anyways. Maybe it was kind of stuck but then got jolted in the right place by trying reading it. And maybe that was all that was needed to eject it. Hope I can help anyone

I tried this, or something very similar on an older console that was acting wonky and it worked. Unfortunately my current PS4 is dead dead. There was a momentary buzz followed by a loud pop. Unplug-rest-replug still gives me nothing.

This video was really helpful. I got my disc free but now the Ps4 won't allow me to put a new disc in. I took it to a electronics store but they wanted £123 before even looking at it. Do you have any suggestions? I've already tried reformating the data.
