When he used the adaptive triggers for the first time and just freaked out with joy, it made my day. So pleased to see so many people saying that it wasn’t a bunch of marketing nonsense and is legit amazing. Clearly it’s something that can’t be properly described; you have to experience it. So I’m looking forward to the 12th 😎

9:08 No. The Xbox triggers are nothing like the PS5 triggers. The Xbox triggers have rumble. The PS5 triggers’ resistance can be changed on the fly. They’re not even remotely the same thing.

This looks so promising. I love what Playstation has done this gen. The amount of effort they put in cooling, in designing a completely new amazing controller, a cutting edge SSD that greatly reduces the bottlenecks between the SSD and how it interacts with the GPU and CPU. The games that sony has showed have such great quality and creativity to them, i feel like they aren't skimping out on anything this time. They are pushing gaming to the new cutting edge limits and im very excited to see where games go from here. Just wait for unreal 5 to release and games that are fully built around the new ssd architecture, i feel like they will be mind blowing with their quality. I honestly dont think i have ever been more impressed and more excited for a new console ever. Seriously. Sonys engineering team and marketing team totally out did themselves. Bravo you guys bravo, i hope to get to play and own my own ps5 someday soon.

Now imagine if they upgraded PSVR's Astro Bot Rescue Mission to take full advantage of the PS5's dualsense controller! That would be immersion off the charts.

I wouldn’t be surprised if VR games going forward take full advantage for immersion purposes. Hoping also that they use the same haptic tech in the PSVR 2 controllers, assuming that’s going to be a thing of course.

@@TriconTv That is a really good point, they talk about the haptics being directional in the dualsense but that could go much further if you have one in each hand. Also, imagine the PSVR Aim Controller, haptics could mimic recoil, reload or firing while out of ammo, but much more important an adaptive trigger on that would take the feeling of using different guns to a whole new level.

Man, EVERYONE is going crazy with the Dualsense, everyone seems to love it! Can't wait to try it out! Also Astro's Playroom looks like an awesome and cute nostalgia trip, a perfect introduction to Next Gen they are kinda saying "This are all the experiences you had in previous gens, welcome to the new one!" it has a nice "familly" feeling to it. Amazing, can't wait to see how the DualSense is implemented in Demon's Souls! Now think about it, 3rd party multi plat games will play almost identically between PS5 and XSX so the DualSense may very well be the differentiating feature between the two systems if the PS5 version of the game gets cool support for it, lets hope devs use it as much as 1st party Sony stuff too.

This actually looks really fun. Like Greg, I got excited when I saw the progress screen that Blessing pulled up. Looks like there’s little secrets hidden everywhere and I am a completionist when I enjoy a game. Collectathons have never felt like a chore to me.

I just made a comment on GI about not being sure I want to play this without PSVR - I forgot about the new haptic feedback implementation. I know ppl try to downplay current gen rumble but to me, I've always loved that feature because I notice when its triggered in games and definitely adds immersion. When Blessing spoke on the change in how the triggers feel based on changing from one thing to the other, THAT'S so dope, on top of the haptic variations based on what u encounter or do. It was one thing to catch vids or read blogs on it but Blessing's reactions to it just added a "reality" to it. The PS5 is going to be, uhh dope! Hope I can get one on launch day.

Also im pretty sure the Xbox controller trigger just have some rumble in them, the Dualsense has actual adaptive resistance to it, devs can make them loose or tight at will to simulate different things like a brake pedal on a car or a bow string.

PS5 uses Magnetic controlled FerroFluid triggers.. Devs can make them feel completely different for each aspect/element in game.

No, Xbox does not have adaptive triggers. They have impulse triggers. Impulse triggers are only rumble in the triggers. Adaptive triggers control resistance. It's a brand new feature, not done on any other controller before.

In fact, there are already several playstation games that will use haptic feedback and adaptive triggers in near-launch PS5 console. Spider-Man: Miles Morales, Demon’s Souls, Horizon Forbidden West, Deathloop, Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales, Ghostwire: Tokyo, Godfall, Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart, Sackboy and Gran Turismo 7 Feelling the directions where attacks are coming from, hitting or parrying successfully, when a weapon jams or recoils, and in Gran Turismo 7… GT7 “is for representing the operation of the antilock brake system (ABS) while braking. A typical ABS releases brake pressure intermittently while the driver applies pressure to the pedal. Hi Guys you need to update the ps5 firmware, you are playing a older version of the game, grass is animated and lighting has been change in the lastest version. But still a ps5 surprise title, keep up the good work you all do :)

You should review the game because it's a system seller. A guy who has kids knows they can't play Demon Souls, maybe that's his big game and he's not picking up Spider Man. A positive review of this could convince someone to pick it up as they'll know their kids can play it over Xmas.

Do you not know of Google? "PS5 Measurements" and first results in web search and images shows all the info you are looking for.

@@MatthewLeavitt that's from an article from June where they estimated the height based on the USB-A port on the front. The official measurement is 15.4 inches, but does not indicate if that includes the stand or not. There was even a caveat on Playstation's actual site that indicated the 15.4" may not even include the FINS!! So, in short.... Don't be a dick. There's probably a reason I'm asking.

Xbox triggers only have rumble. PS5 triggers are much more dynamic. Haptics and the resistance.
