I was having alot of troble getting the 2 big clips at the end of the controller at 2:05. No matter how i approached it or how gentle or rough i was it wouldnt come off. But since im replacing the shell anyway i just jammed my tool in there and broke it off. I then realized after i was finished that the video doesnt show them installing the new foam pad to press against the battery, so i forgot it. Dont forget the foam piece and glue it to the shell, not the battery. But i when i took it apart again it was much easier, maybe it was because of the way its made, or it could be because its clear through now and i can actually see where the clip is. But i came in at angle towards the clip, and pushed in and lifted up and they came off alot easier.

Why am I not seeing a demonstration of the touchpad being tested after everything is assembled? and why Is it that no video shows the side with the adhesive. please explain if the touchpad motherboard needs to have the double sided adhesive or not, please show a video of it working after the shell swap.

Dunno if you ever found the answer to this. I've done a few myself that work fine. Touch pad you need to heat up with a hair dryer or heat gut from the TOUCH PAD SIDE. Once done that you can gently ( with the provided pry tool ) pry it off. If removed correctly you can use the same adhesive that's already on there. You shouldn't have to replace it. Ive never had to. But yes you need the tape regardless. It gives it a snug fit to ensure the touchpad is accurate. Hope this helps. Cheers

I installed the Clear Black full shells set but 3 of the 4 upper buttons are defective/not compatible (R2, L1 and R1) because they have poorly constructed or imprecise internal plastics (the only correct piece of plastic is L2). I wonder if it's a manufacturing flaw or just mixed up with another shipment for a different dualsense model by error (mine is 020).

Every time my adaptive triggers kicks on, there’s now a terrible grinding motor sound that wasn’t there before and doesn’t happen on the other controller I’ve modded which was a bdm30. How do I fix this??

My touch pad looks a little bad because the glue holding the board underneath it came off in some places. Would completely removing the glue be an option?

I mean if it's solid in notches I'm sure it's ok but but some clear double sided tape would help maybe

I just did mine last night it wasn't hard. Just now I can see the actual led light on the controller if I tilt it down. Any thoughts on how to fix it? I'm thinking I screwed it too tight with to the touchpad.

Their instructions for removing the light bar couldn’t be more incorrect. Mine was literally all glued together and they show it like it just pops out. Extremely disappointing.

I just bought a PS5 disc version on Monday (06/27/22) and got it the following Wednesday. I'm already planning to customize the crap out of it, and the controllers, with mostly your products. I made an Amazon wishlist for my birthday (coming up next week) that's loaded with your LED kits for the console and controllers, the clear blue and purple shells for the controllers, and a different company's black transparent face plates (cause sadly you don't offer them). The grand total for the entire wishlist is about $250. 🤞 that somebody gets me everything on the list, cause I wanna make my PS5 look badass for my 44th birthday. I hope your products are as good, and easy to apply, as they look in your videos. If I get everything, I'll definitely post a video to my channel (even though I'm not really a content creator) with the decked out console. Unless ...
