Lucky they didn't rip those ground pads, because their main purpose is support. The cable doesn't actually connect to them. If they ripped those, even the best fix possible would still be more sensitive to pulling off than the original.

Appreciate your commenting! I would have to disagree. I've fixed many of these connectors with damaged ground pads and feel the end result strength wise was superior to what came out of the factory.

josh yu can buy the clear stuff off ebay uk so im assuming ebay america is same?
