basically performance mode is 240 p and resolution mode stutters a lot and dips below 30 i hope it is better on pc. also texures are terrible they look like a ps3 game

Textures are definitely better than PS3 but it's rough. PC will likely only be playable at a stable framerate with framegen if you have anything below a 4090

@@Tea_SR nah this game will most likely be playable on a 4070 or 7800xt above 60fps with maybe some upscaling depending on settings at 1080 and 1440p. Maybe you will need a 4080 or 7900xtx on good looking settings with maybe some upscaling to reach 4k 60 but if it needs a 4090 to reach 60fps that would mean that this game will be the absolute worst port that has ever released on PC. I mean it will probably be bad and everyone knows it but this bad? That would be insanity

Reminder of how MHW performed when it was released on PS4 and PS4 pro, It wasn't as blurry in performance mode but it barely 40fps+ on PS4 pro, and flucturing 30+ fps on resolution mode. On base ps4 it way worse then I remembered, 25 fps everywhere. kzbin.info/www/bejne/gnWzm5aAapWAjpI This is just Wilds Beta, I doubt it gonna be massively improved in 4 months til release but the performance already good enough if you compare to previous MH releases, but it'll get more polished for sure since this is a massive open beta to test performance and servers

Yes it certainly is, very disappointing I uninstalled after 5 hours. Bow is my favourite MH weapon and the framerate made it such a struggle to play, game is also blurry too World looks better

Iirc one of the directors (maybe tokuda) said that these last 4-5 months the games has basicly been finished, and all theyre doing is bugfixing and optimizing for performance.

I disagree. My tv was flickering like crazy and that is due to huge ups and downs. The game looks great, it’s just that a base PS5 can’t run it. I’m waiting for the beta to launch on Pc, that way I’ll get the full experience.

Performance mode in 120hz ran fine on my 75inch 4k tv, looked like 1400p checkerboard upres but the frames seemed to never noticably stutter 🤷‍♂️

Same here, my tv has a frame tracker and while i was having drops at times i was actually sitting at 70frames plus in 120hz mode
