Sadly CD project red announced there is no plan to release a PS5 Pro patch. It could be as simple as unlocking the frame rate on the quality mode.

It was on sale CHEAP during Cyber week. Like 70% off, along with Liberty. I picked it up jic the devs change their mind. I wouldn't mind a replay on my PS5 Pro...

@stanislavkimov2779 from what I've researched, all games to some degree. I even have been testing some ps4 games like Nier Automata and it looks better and runs smoother

@@stanislavkimov2779 Varies game to game. Most games will show an improvement, but how much that improvement is differs a lot. I've personally just been going game by game and looking up videos PS5 pro _game_ performance to determine whether or not a PS5 Pro is worth it for me.

It would be unplayable, what is being shown here isn’t all the ray tracing , some lighting , and some other features, but not much . This game destroy frames

The Pro should definitely be able to add some light raytraced global illumination or some reflections at 30fps similar to the Spiderman games so it looks closer to the raytraced PC versions.

Not happening I get 4k 80 fps with my 4080 super/ryzen 7 7800x3d. The ps5 pro aint gettinG a solid 60 fps in 4k on this. I can see a low 50s though.

@@PCgamerChannelthere would have to be some serious concessions for them to get 60. It doesn’t matter how ungraded the quality would be or how poor of the raytracing it would be. As long as they can say they got 4K60 is all they care about.

I've played this game on regular ps5 for about 120 hours and it's fantastic, now I have the pro it looks and runs somehow EVEN better and with a dedicated patch it would be 🫠

Regrettably, the developers have confirmed that they will not release a patch for this game. They have essentially completed the game and have shifted their focus to other projects they are currently working on. While I had hoped for a patch, unfortunately, that is not feasible.

Eh they moved some people back on to the game, and they’re eventually planning to release engine mod tools, so might as well do a patch. Wouldn’t take long. Sony will probs press for it, even if they cough up money for it, they understand the importance of having an enhanced patch of cyberpunk.

@@crypticsouls987yeah but doesn’t mean they won’t allow Sony to try and an enhance it. Wouldn’t take that much. Plus despite them moving everyone off cp2077, they actually put some people back onto the team. So who knows.

This game will not get a patch.. They already said after their dlc they was done with the game and moved on. Hell, they was patching this game for around 3yrs.

@@azwilko1997 Yes, I heard about that last week too. But who knows, they might do one more patch on this game. Hell Hogwarts ended up with a minor patch so maybe CD project would do one. Guess it depends on how much the fan base wants to see that I guess. If they do I'm all for it

I think this game will eventually get a PS5 Pro patch, but it might take quite some time... Cypberpunk 2077 is amazing and they spent years getting it to this point between many performance patches and eventual expansion content. At this point I doubt CDPR is in a hurry to devote resources to satisfy a small percentage of its user base. This of course is my pure speculation, but based on my experience of what CDPR is all about. Ive been a fan since the original Witcher on PC. Witcher 2 was a game so advanced it took PC hardware 2-3 years to max out back when that was new, and they kept fixing/adding to that years after (plus the eventual Xbox 360 port) Witcher 3 was no different... Came out originally on PC/PS4/Xbox. It took awhile to do it, but eventually there was a next gen Patch for all platforms and it is even better now. They will get there, but only when they feel they have the time/resources to do so... but when they do it will be good.

I know they said they don’t have plans, but I feel they will, it’s an absolute no brainer. oh no it’ll spend more time on an old game and might cause a small delay, well future games are gonna get delayed regardless 🤣 Also, it’ll bring in more players and encourage players to play the game yet another time. Also if they’re planning to release engine mod tools eventually for cp which would be time consuming to dev. Might as well do a ps5pro patch. Takes less time too 😂 Maybe Sony will get involved. They use cyberpunk a lot for their advertising as well, so they understand the importance of it. And can they PLEASE GIVE US THE OPTION TO REMOVE THE UGLY GREEN TINT FOR THE LOVE OF GOD. PLEASE.

There is massive ghosting on the Ray Tracing mode, it seems, around the motorbike. This is also on PC, and it's bad visual artifacts , due to upscaling technology not able to remove it.

Uhh, no. A console will not be better than a higher end gaming PC, unless the specific game is a poor port to the PC.. that is the only case scenario where you will ever see a console truly beat a PC.

@Ki77a_WhSpRz Of course, a comparable PC would be more costly. A multi-billion dollar company mass buying components vs a single person buying them.. a console will almost always offer better price to performance. But it is fun to try and compare PC vs console, but a console will never be able to beat a PC. There may be a small period where consoles match a mid range, etc PC.. but not for long. The PC market moves too fast.. there is always innovations happening at 3 to 6 months.. whereas a console generation will typically last 8 to 10 years.. in that time frame, PCs will see 4 to 5 GPU generations, and 8 to 10 CPU generations. Look at the base PS5.. when first launched, it had one of the fastest SSDs, period. 4 years later, there are SSDs available to PCs with double that speed.

@@WhSpRz_366what is the deterrent of you playing the game yourself on the Pro? Do you want to know so you can brag about how the Pro outperforms the PC if it in facts outperforms the PC? Are you just trying to see how it performs period? If that’s the case then it shouldn’t matter if it’s close to PC. Why even bring up PC to begin with?

@@9190onin no not necessarily. But patched games always are better. If a game has a dynamic resolution then the ps5 pro will render at a higher dynamic resolution. Also if the game has an unlocked fps the pro will output a higher fps.

@@MajorBen Correction: the PS5 PRO will TRY to run at higher fps with better visual effects. Most of the time, the box has performance issues, such as lowered fps; lowered resolution; screen tearing; unlocked fps with up-and-down fps inducing microstuttering gameplay and pacing issues. . . . /ymmv

Have a PS5 Pro. We were told that the Pro would likely make it possible to run games in 'fidelity mode' with 60 fps and included better effects. Truth remains, that 'fidelity mode' runs at about 30 fps locked, generally, with a bit higher, scalable resolution. Find myself putting nearly every game into 'performance mode' only to maintain fps. PS5 Pro makes EVERYTHING look better in screenshots; but, fluid gameplay: nah. . . . /ymmv

@@ubxtch Have a decent 4K TV with the latest HDMI ports; will also do 1440P with VRR automatically when the game selects it. Use the fastest HDMI cables, too. /shrug

Also, suspect that many games will NOT receive a PS5 PRO update because (as a PRO owner) the PS5 PRO runs most games in 'fidelity mode' at a locked 30 fps, generally, not including VRR scalable resolution displays. So, WHY then include PRO updates for earlier games when this damn machine can only run at 60 fps when in 'performance mode' which would also not include PRO visual enhancements? /shrug Decent machine, runs faster and cooler than my old base PS5, but the box simply canNOT run games in 'fidelity mode' at 60 fps. Ever. /ymmv

Lol sharper. A slight sharper because of HDMI 2.1 cable. And not even in true 4K (Digital Foundry debunked the resolution setting) Once you play on PC with DP cable you'd have real experience playing games at 4K 60 fps. Sony keeps lying with 4K resolution in games. PS4 Pro was and still is 2K. Not 4K. Same case is with PS5 "Pro", they used DLSS on to fool you thinking games are running 4K but the fact is the resolution is slightly more than 2K.

Is this a gigantic waste of time? The game is not patched and you dont have the hardware needed to show the game is actually running at higher resolution and its not just a placebo effect.. Do your audience better than a trust me bro i definitely think its running at a higher dynamic resolution.

В режиме Трассировки 30 кадров - на ps5 работал vrr , примерно 45 кадров. Сейчас на ps5 pro не работает. Думаю это техническая ошибка. Я снова подключил ps5 и vrr работает. Телевизор LG C3
