I’m pleased by this news. I prayed they would be screwed and stuck with dead stock they can’t get rid of. I hope they can’t return them either n lose money. I’m glad to hear it’s happening. I got mine day one and picked up my disk drive fairly easily a few days b4 the pro’s release day. I even saved a bit of money by getting it thru GameStop as a pro member.

Not only I was able to score a pre order, I also scored the e disc drive at my local Walmart. There were 4 in stock and the Walmart team member said you must got the pro today. I said yup and he was like I just bought the regular console 3 months ago

It was a chip shortage when PS5 and Xbox Series consoles came out pair that with covid, there was no ordering another 500k by PS or Xbox.

Makes no sense at all crazy scalpers trying to flip a pro. No 2nd version of a system has ever sold as much as the first psone didn't sell as much as the regular one/ps2-4 slim didn't sell as much as the regular versions, and the PS4 Pro didn't sell as much as the regular PS4. It was common sense the new pro wouldn't sell as much.

All of the scalpers selling the ps5 pro at a loss are dum dums. They already went through this with the regular ps5. Why would you think it would happen again especially with this overpriced console in this economy?? Now the 30th edition pro is a very different story and that’s just common sense because they telling you there is low stock on that

My thing - I would never pay - even a penny more than what the actual is or was….. not worth it. Same with PS5 - we had a group created - we all helped each others other and I ordered mine through Direct - somehow I went through and I along with 2 others were able to purchase one…. Same with the 30th anniversary - when I went through the waiting queue - they were already sold out - I definitely did not go on eBay to buy them - hahahaha. We need to stop encouraging them pretty much plus - I do not trust these shady people who are trying to sma others. lol
