PS5 Slim Discussion

How has your PS5 Slim been? PS5 Slim won't allow me to use my USB Thumb Drive and is seemingly blocking it but I used it on original PS5 no problem. PC recognizes it no problem as well. I go through the steps to transfer ps4 saves but it just stalls and returns to previous menu.
UPDATE
USB C thumb drive does work for PS4 save transfers with the PS5 Slim.
Maybe a USB A to C adapter will work on the front PS5 Slim ports as well.
