I saw Kyle's audition when he was 12, and David was right. In fact all the judges voted Kyle no for that contest and David was the only one to give him constructive advice; and not harshly I might add. Kyle needed singing lessons; he had an okay voice for someone so young, but poor control of holding notes; and he needed a lot more self confidence. This proves David was correct, Kyle got lessons and look how well he turned out.
