The Emerge is a budget class bolt action rifle with a similar design but a recoil lug that is not one piece part of the reciever and it features a cheaper trigger. Everything they say about it is super promising. I’d wait for a gen 2 for the kinks to be worked out but I’m probably not gonna wait 😂 everything about the bolt gun is amazing.

The Ruger American Gen2 is getting good shooting reviews. I’m hoping PSAs lineup is as good. They look awesome. That Sabre platform in FDE would be my top pick. Such a sweet looking gun!

Honestly you're absolutely right but nevertheless this is the first 700 or 700 clone I've considered getting. I may be bias because I hate remington firearms lol they are pretty shoddy

@czed7515 I just wana see something besides a 700clone. This is a better then avg At least it's got the real recoil lug though and m16 extractor. Check out that weatherby model 307 if you like 700 clones.

@johncollins1958 with a normal remington 700 it screams poi shift consistently to me. Idk if it's because of the wedged recoil lug or round reciever but it never seemed quality.

If a company made an affordable Rem 700 mount action that was controlled feed and had a bolt lock, that would probably be successful. That's also what I have been waiting for, but I will probably have to wait much longer. I am surprised nobody has made something like that yet. The closest thing to that is a Legendary Arm Works M704 Law action.
