Thanks for the shoutout!.. Funny how we can revert to our impulsive, excited kid selves in the presence of vintage wax... Minsizereq means that it's below PSA's tolerance for what is supposed to be 2.5"x3.5"... don't know exactly what the tolerance is(rumored to be around +/-1/32") but it's a sort of half-measure to weed out trimmed cards without being punitive to collectors who submitted but probably didn't do the trimming(and yeah, Topps cut lots of 'em a little short and a little long)... You don't get charged a grading fee for minsizreq cards... This video prompted me to finally catalog my ESB graded cards and my average grade is 8.6, so you're in good company with 8s and 9s... My guess on the Lukes???... guessing a total of 34(three 5s, two 6s and one 7)... hope you get higher grades though!

Great info! …and for once I hope your wrong. On the predicted grades for the Luke’s. I know of course, that you are wishing well too… but it seems that these cards, being what they are, will be graded tougher. And with the trend lately, you will probably be very close to right. But again, I hope you’re dead wrong 😂😬. A wealth of knowledge though Ken, thanks for continuing to lurk around and watching my stuff. So appreciate it!

I appreciate the shoutout! I really look forward to getting the acrylic boxes but I will be patiently waiting as their stated backlog is still about 6 weeks. Your setup looks really nice and truly pays homage to the wax box niche of the SW universe (and they’re protected at the same time). Thanks again for the recommendation! This reveal further demonstrates the uncertainty of the grading process. I would love to see more returns like your Series 3. That was really cool! As far as the Luke’s, I’m going with (2) 5s, (3) 6s, and (1) 7.5 for a total of 35.5. I would love to be wrong on the low side though. I can’t wait to find out!

Great video's. Just discovered the channel. Collect a lot of star wars stuff but never branched out into trading cards. This has inspired me to get a few. A psa star file Boba is currently heading my way from the states to here in the UK. Keep up the good work 👍

First the Sharpie, now the trimmer…what’s next, printing fakes on your Epson 500?!?!😂. This return feels just like the 1980 ESB one I got back. Kinda tough! I did get a 1977 return yesterday and got some nice PSA 9’s a bunch of 8’s and even a Gem 10 on a sticker! Highlight being #58 Han Solo in a 9! Can’t believe u got those Lukes back already! My prediction 5,6,7,7,7,8 total = 40. Do or do not…there is no try! Good stuff E-dub

@@e-dubrippinstuff9820 😅 Remind me to never play poker against you...with all these tricks up your sleeve! Yeah, having those Lukes just sitting there takes some real will power! Let's hope for now PSA rejections on those. For my stuff, I've gotten it all over. A few packs over the years, some raw off Ebay, a few graded cards that I cracked. Most stuff I bought raw on Ebay is getting 8's. This Han #58 was a HGA 8.5 but the centering subgrade was 8 and it looked almost 50/50 to me. Cracked it and PSA gave me a 9! 🤑 The sticker was a series 5 one in an old SGC 9 slab. Cracked it and it got a 10! Bought a NM-MT set of 1977 series 1 like 5 years ago for $100 or less and have sent in some of those, getting some 9's and some 8's. Got lucky a couple years ago with a couple lots on FB Marketplace that looked clean and have gotten like 4/5 PSA 9's on those! I was lucky to snag some of this stuff back in 2017-2019 when it was cheaper but it's getting pretty expensive now! Trust me, I've had some stinkers in my orders as well, but if you get the grader I just got for your stuff, it was VERY fair...no complaints! Good luck man!!!

many cards from the 80's/90's come out of the pack short, so PSA has been calling those out a lot more lately to cover their butts on potential trims...I have heard of people who have resubmitted the cards that come back to them Min Size Required and gotten them holdered the next time

Wow they were though on this one. Maybe the corners were not sharp enough. The centering was pretty good, I expected more nines. The 6 Lukes. Im going with 2x6, 3x7 and one 8. Grand total of 41

You talking about the other Series 1 box? PSA has definitely been crushing it lately… in the most negative of ways though 😒. For some reason I feel like they will hold the Luke’s to a different standard. If these 6 Luke’s were other random cards… I feel like they might all come back as 8’s. But when they look through a ridiculously tough lens, the “Luke #1” lens, they might be exponentially tougher graders. We will see though. Thanks Chris! 🤞🏻

I seem to be on a bad string of these and gradable cards. I think it all started with your title card for that rack pack of yours. Well… I think I’m going to do it here pretty quickly…. but as they sit in the sealed box, there is a chance there are 6 PSA 10’s in there 🤣. If I open the box… then all doubt/hope will be squashed. But there is no doubt, I’m just delaying the inevitable. Short answer, probably Wednesday. That’s what I’m aiming for. Thank you for watching!
